I'm from Pennsylvania too! And I totally get what you're saying. It seems like everyone is so close-minded about K-Pop, just because they don't understand it. All of my friends refuse to even listen to it because they say that they listen to songs for their lyrics and message, but most American pop songs don't have a deep message at all. Unless you count partying, drinking, and having sex as a deep message.

woo same!! I'm from Philadelphia suburbs and no one is open to kpop! except in New York! I went there for SMTown Live and we (my korean friend and I) were walking around the city and there was this whole korean area and they had stores that sold all kpop CDs and dramas. We were both so shocked cuz we don't usually see that! I actually did a cross country trip with my family and the only places that were like that were California and NY. Our society needs to learn to be more open to others

Yes. Originally Hyoyoung was going to be put in T-ARA and Hwayoung was going to be the visual of 5Dolls. Sometimes Hyoyoung replaced Hwayoung when Hwa was sick. Anyway Hyoyoung is now the leader of 5Dolls and they now have a new visual, Hana.
