it's always weird that her lows are never good in the studio, but she's able to support F#3/G3 live. this era saw improvements in support up to B4, and some more chestiness in her mid range, which is neither really a good or bad thing. so vocally it's kinda whatever, but sonically, the improvement from ME and even YT>> and yas, your editing always slays
@Alexmax92958 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! :) I noticed that her mid belts are better than before too but I actually didn't see any other kind of improvement in her voice: her low notes are still very unsupported and weak in both studio and live, it seems that she keeps not supporting above C5/C#5 and her sense of pitch is pretty inconsistent like before. Honestly the only thing that makes me happy technically speaking is the fact that she's consistent through these years: her voice has suffered no damage, she's still able to belt G#5 like it's nothing, her falsetto isn't deteriorated (apart from the top) and she keeps covering 3 full octaves in her albums. I love her and I will support her always and forever but...I'm wondering if she will ever improve or she is destined to remain the same forever. :/ Maybe I'm exaggerating but I have this feeling and I'm afraid to be right about this... Sorry for having extended xD

Alexmax9295 I only heard significant issues with intonation in 2014, which was probably her worst year vocally, like ever. And yeah, headiness will have that effect, in regards to the damage thing. But I've definitely heard differences in her voice, in terms of ease and tonal quality in her upper mixed voice over the years. I do hope she changes her technique at least a bit, because at the rate she's going, a heady mix can only save her for so long. And no, you're fine lol. It is a very real concern...

She has still pitch problems live though but I agree overall. We can only hope that she will improve...

@Alexmax92958 жыл бұрын
I actually don't see difference between her lows in studio and her lows live because they are always weak and unsupported or at least most of the times. Regarding her mid belts I agree with you although I didn't see any particular improvement. :)

+Alexmax9295 Her lows are inconsistent live, but occassionaly she supports them. But they always suck in the studio for some reason.

For being a Light-Lyric Soprano her low notes are pretty decent i say remember she is a very light voice if i compared to other its even more lighter that Lea Michele Tori Kelly Kiesza and Christina Grimmie all of these they are Light Lyric Sopranos too
@Alexmax92957 жыл бұрын
A lot of people say that her low notes are pretty decent and that she even support consistently down to G3/F#3 but I honestly consider her low register to be far from decent: she has good moments actually but overall she still has a lot of issues with her chest voice, she didn't sound comfortable, she sounds airy and weak half of the times and her voice lacks truly solidity in the whole third octave. She can easily improve with more practice though.
@WeiyunMike6 жыл бұрын
Alexmax9295 i know she need to improved more her low notes speciality that part Christina Grimmie for been a Light Lyric Soprano she improved all the time hear all her covers (Her "Focus". Cover Sound great ) and original music i think you need to do one vocal video for Christina Grimmie with her Find Me Album Ep also with Her With Love Album and All Is Vanity Album please do it

Yay you finally uploaded it!!! I agree her lows are still weak but I'm glad she's explored it more though. Too bad that the highest belted note was a G#5 but Ariana, being extra as she is, can throw in some A5 or maybe Bb5 notes live. Her falsetto has improved and the Eb6's in Touch It are heaven though she seems to have trouble sustaining the D6 in Everyday live. Nevertheless, this album is amazing, an overall improvement over My Everything and I can't wait to see her on tour soon! My fav songs are Moonlight, DW, Into You, Side To Side, Greedy, Sometimes, Bad Decisions, Touch It, Knew Better/Forever Boy, and Thinking Bout You. Oh and great video!! 😊

I made this video when the "support" topic wasn't point out in the vocal community but despite this, usually I'm used to showcase the low notes below G3 and the belted notes above C5 for any female singer. Unfortunately Ariana used to support just an octave that goes from A3/Bb3 to B4 so I didn't showcase it in my video but I think that it's overall fine since people can still debate on it in the comment section and expose the truth like you did. Thank you so much for watching! :D

Isn't there a C#3 in this album????
@Alexmax92958 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. The harmonized C#3s (and G#2s) in the bridge of "Greedy" sound like a male vocalist and I don't hear any Eb3 in the harmony during the F#3s, plus I think the D3s in "Dangerous Woman" are made by a male vocalist too so the vocal range of the album is E3 - E6. I would be happy to change my mind if someone will prove me the opposite. :)
@taytaybeynippy4868 жыл бұрын
Oh got you I haven't tried to check the notes myself personally and I didn't even check and I didn't even buy or listen to the album yet either. That's why i was asking.Alexmax9295
@Alexmax92958 жыл бұрын
I can hear the D3s and the C#3s (AND the G#2s that everybody forgot!) and I think that they are made by a male vocalist as I said before. The only note I do NOT hear is the Eb3 that you all think that she harmonized with the F#3 in the bridge of "Greedy". Sorry but I don't hear anything lower than a F#3 there, if someone could filter the harmony it would be great! :)
@TheEmancipationofHoosiers8 жыл бұрын
+Alexmax9295 I agree with you completely on the range. The D3s are definitely not her, unfortunately. E3-E6 is still an impressive album range though!
