"the attacked pianist"?! Dear Karl Peter, Harry wilkinson, Jerry Lawson & Co, you keep repeating the same nonsense. Look for guilt in yourself and in your environment! You or your "colleagues" were the first to publish this video! In a completely criminal way, in a short period of time, the video received 8 million calls with great, fabricated reviews. All Internet users have long known that everything related to video (number of calls, likes, reviews) can be bought on the Internet. Noticing these manipulations, the Radio France orchestra (this is the state orchestra) removed the video from the Internet. I received this information from the musicians of the orchestra. Everything is very simple in this crime story - an irrepressible desire for fame and money pushes people to "dirty" deeds!

"the attacked pianist"?! john lego: "The stalker ‘Mario/Georges’ often claims he was never banned. This is a big lie, which is not surprising for a stalker. Staffan Olofsson, one of my colleagues who often also emphasizes the Stalker's excessive remarks, could easily testify here, in particular concerning the 'original' video of the same concert, belonging to France Musique but having been withdrawn 2 months ago. This 'original' video was online for 3.5 years (since 2018) and was viewed over 8 million times before recently disappearing, for financial reasons. ..." The original was destroyed because this performance of this work by Beethoven is the worst on the Internet. You will understand this yourself if you listen to the performance of this Beethoven Concerto 3 by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Leonard Bernstein, soloist Krystian Zimerman. "for financial reasons"!!! "Financial difficulties"?! What "financial problems" can a video have? "Financial problems" arise if someone pays for these same 8 million calls and he runs out of money! This is how the “attractive pianist” gains popularity! All her fame is cheap gimmicks: going on stage barefoot, playing with Rubik's cube, regularly emphasizing her love for whiskey in all interviews. These tricks are designed to gain popularity among the uneducated audience, classical music plays a secondary role here!

When a new genius pianist is born and meets some of the best music ever written, a moment of pure heaven occurs, without any previous comparable interpretation at such high standard and that will last for ever since it’s now reached an inaccessible climax of musical Art. Furthermore, this video shows one of the best concerts of classical music ever recorded in the conditions of live. Of course, this famous Beethoven’s piano concerto # 3 was formerly ‘religiously’ played by generations of good pianists and orchestras, but almost always in a too formatted ‘classical’ and finally rather boring way: here, an extraordinary magic happens in the pianistic part, that has completely been revisited in all its nuances, as if a new, joyful Beethoven’s concerto has just been discovered, thanks to this highly inspired young Artist. The Symphony Radio France Orchestra conducted in Paris by Mikko Franck (world famous Finnish Conductor) was also sublime that day, with a perfect harmony and synchronization between the pianist and the other players throughout the concert, all attendees sharing and visibly enjoying an outstanding moment of intense pleasure(16:32; 33:34). In addition, the high quality of recordings and a clever filming of this stunning concert allow us to instantly realize and then contemplate how PHENOMENAL is ALICE SARA OTT, with her incomparable touch of the piano and virtuosity (17:04; 37:32), her unparalleled sensitivity (19:35; 21:50; 26:57; 34:16), her total communion with Beethoven's music (5:13; 20:38), reflected by her amazing frequent whisper of musical notes (10:46; 11:55; 31:41; 32:42; 35:08), and also her communicative joy (26:00), her so expressive and fascinating visual dialogue with the other orchestra soloists (24:16!) and the Conductor (11:01; 14:46; 29:55; 32:26), often literally subjugated by her performance, and, last but not least, her indescribable charm and grace (39:46). This was an exceptional life-changing event that fortunately we can now watch over and over again thanks to this superb movie. Emotions remain intact and even increase after listening to this concert a lot of times, due to the discovery of further countless enjoyable details to see and hear, that is also extremely rare. Masterful interpretation of a masterpiece! Millions of thanks to Alice Sara Ott, Mikko Franck and the Paris Orchestra! Hope so much she will be able to continue to play at such heavenly level in spite of recent serious health worries. (comment initially sent in 2018 when this video was posted by Radio France, before being removed in 2021 when it had already totaled more than 8M views in 3 years)

I like this concerto because it is very rich in twists and turns, because there is a real dialogue between the musicians of the orchestra and the piano, I also like the colors of this concerto. Alice Sara Ott's interpretation is really up to the level of this masterpiece, she makes the dialogues very lively, obvious, she has a game full of contrasts, melodic lines of a great finesse. Often, this concerto is played in a somewhat "manly" way, Alice makes us hear a Beethoven, sensual, charming, mischievous, playful and powerful too. The second movement is to cry so strong in emotion, there again, Alice, by her musicality and her great musical intelligence, succeeds in finding the good emotional distance, the good apprehension of the silences, of the breaths between the phrases, she has a phrasing of a softness and an incredible strength. The last movement is really delightful - I like this interpretation, with its slightly grating humor, I also like very much the duet with the clarinet towards the end of the movement, I find this passage very tender and very noble too. The orchestra is also remarkable, of listening, of finesse, of beauty, of tenderness, there is a beautiful and apparent connivance between Alice Sara Ott, Mikko Franck and the musicians of the orchestra of Radio France. I really vibrated while listening to this concert, and I had the impression of rediscovering this concerto. Thank you all and let's not forget, a huge, a gigantic posthumous thank you to this very dear L.V.Beethoven. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Just like in 2:08 the way she just so confidently and casually nods to the conductor to start... It's just so comforting in that I know we're about to get a great performance. Another one her multitude of qualities and charms :) Dare I say so charming in an Alice kinda way? Also multiple times the way the visual communication between her and the conductor works... It's so cool to see this because even though I'm just an amateur I feel like the "teamwork" aspect is what brings orchestras and symphonies and concertos truly shine. I love how, multiple times, the lead solo piano passes it on to the orchestra in full swing and she's following the orchestra with a full passionate face! These are the true feelings of a listener as well, so cool! With all this and so much more I think this is one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The multitude of dimensions of depth to experience this... Also I really like the diversity in the orchestra: younger people, older people, men, women, this is the vital force of humanity, so many different perspectives :)

She's in anguish with the maestro and fellow musicians through the heaviest/deepest parts of the music, but also, so earnestly smiling and intense overall in her performance, up to being smiling embarrassedly at her enthusiasm. Can you honestly find another equally passionate and approachable performance? I'm suspecting I will remember this for life. BTW: I cannot express exactly why but watching people from multiple countries and upbringings performing together makes me transcendentally happy! I was born in 1984 in Portugal, and now having KZbin and finding people born in so many different countries and understanding themselves and playing together... OMG, awesome.

I discovered it by listening the integral of Beethovem by Karajan and when I fall on this piece, I looked after on KZbin and..... Your interpretation is amazing, stunning. I don't master english sufficiently to find words. I have listen this piece at least 70 times and it's always an enchantment. I feel you inhabited by this master piece. THANK YOU

Die Leichtigkeit und trotzdem eine Dynamik ist Beeindruckend, auch das Dirigieren strahlt eine angenehme unbeschwerte Darbietung aus.

Beethoven would be smiling down on this interpretation by Mikko, Alice & Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France musicians. She is playing from her heart with pure joy especially in the middle movement @ 24:57 & 26:00. By the last movement she seems to be on cloud 9 or some other perfect place

Thank you Alice, Mikko and orchestra! I love classical music but am far from classically literate. Although I have nothing of substance to add to a discussion about this performance, I did want to thank you all for the incredible joy I have experienced from it. I have watched it (including previous versions) countless times now. Tick me off as another soul both moved and enriched by your craft and being.

This the kind of performance I'm not able to forget. All musicians with so exquisite expressions, one can forget this is a piano concerto in the beginning for a very long time, and after that the piano doesn't monopolize, but is simply the awesome lead with the awesome follow. I could write about how Alice looks beautiful, but I'm too enraptured by the playing. If I recover before I die, I'll edit.

If only all people around the world could experience this kind of performance.... Personally I'm torn. I was born in 1984 to a middle aged family which probably was way above average in income, so they could explore and expose their son to classical - that's me. I've grown to love it, despite never having the means to focus on it, just the listening part. Meanwhile, while I complain about it, lots of people around the world are starving for basic food and water. Meanwhile I also have easy access to KZbin and this performance. Does anyone feel to blessed too be true?

Yes, one must wonder about you, "Alice in Wonderland". Uploading this fine performance while encouraging and perpetuating the ignorant trolls of Georges Cancan/Mario DiSarli over it. And, seemingly, eliminating most of the comments opposing them. Hmm; very interesting... Oh well, since mine won't be here long, more power to ya. Kinda twisted to post a performer's video then allowing extreme personal attacks of the performer to survive under it. It takes all kinds here, eh Georges/Mario?

Dear "bloodgrss" & Co, you have always believed that the Internet exists only for you, promoters of "pianistic art a la strip club"! Times change and vulgarity will find its place in the underworld and you will find your place there. You will have a magnificent environment: half-naked, barefoot, busty "beauties" who know how to use the piano!

Guten Tag Frau Ott.
@staffanolofsson82013 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Alice Sara Ott. "Nobody puts baby in a corner". Not Georges Cancan, not Mario Di Sarli. Not even if they are the same person. Not even if they repeatadly over and over again bring the same outweard arguments. 128 times. Not if we never even read his arguements.
@mariodisarli10223 жыл бұрын
"Nobody puts baby in a corner". Dear Staffan! It is common practice for a model to walk barefoot down the runway to demonstrate a swimsuit. If the same model walks barefoot across the stage of the concert hall to demonstrate Beethoven's third concert, this is already vulgarity, this is bad taste, dear Staffan!

As pointed out by Horowitz, there are 2 kinds of pianists. One plays with excessive body movements and facial expressions and the other kind just play the nusic with minimal such things. I say the former is a pianist star, the latter is a pianist bodafide. Ms Otto is no doubt the former.

Everything is a expected, very good and exceptional from an advanced pianist. Why spoil it with something that is in bad taste; fringe and dress. One could of course put the video off if it is discordant; and only listen, most of us have heard this concerto umpteen times.
