Why is the person filming this waving the camera around and then filming the logs, rocks, and trees instead of keeping the camera on the subject? you need Dramamine to watch this.. it's a wonder the little boy didn't drown and this will stay with him for the rest of his life and the mother's life.

Well getting dragged around on the ground by a 7 foot tall pile of muscles isn’t exactly healthy for a small child

Stepping aside the discourse, I just remembered thjs randomly today. And that poor kid might have a battle against PTSD because of this. FALLING, first of all, then having a bunch of adults scream from above when you're next to something you've probably only seen once in your life/never up close, getting pulled under the water, jerked and thrashed around. THEN having a shot go over your head, killing the animal behind you? I hope that boy is being taken care of now.... by literally anyone who can properly care for him.

My class and my teacher were reading the one and only Ivan and in the book they were talking about jambo and how he protected the boy that fell into his cage and I said “That’s like Harambe!” And my teacher replies with “Yeah but Harambe was hurting the boy”

Im a couple years out of highschool but tbh 90% of my teachers were over the top liberals. Its a hive mind and they try to get every student to buy in and follow it.

Half of the comments here are completely brain dead, you can see that the Gorilla has no idea how fragile the kid is, you aren't a horrible parent for not paying attention to your child in a Zoo, hate would be more justified if it was near a road, train, petting Zoo, etc., but not in this case (Also nearly every parent has a moment, where they lose attention for some thirty seconds. With the speed Harambe is pushing and then pulling the child through shallow water, its definitely not safe, have you ever considered that pulling a little kid with nose in water could, idk, choke it? , also, there aren't any other Gorillas in that enclosure.

Why the parents out of parental love didn't jump and save their kid. I can't believe they killed the poor gorilla for no mistake of it. Careless and idiotic parents.

everyone crying in the comments about the mother (but the whole fking issue here is that a child thats probably not even 1 meter tall managed to enter a godamn silverback gorilla enclosure)

WTF man, that's how I remember it too! It's like how in the "Evan Longoria's Catch saves Reporter's Life!" video the reporter is now black instead of white and blonde. Something really strange is going on.
