I've seen her again since and it was much greater production value, but literally 20 or so minutes of her show was asking random audience members with "the juice" to come on stage and dance with her and everyone, so I guess I still stand by my DIY mentality. I know what you mean but in this era unfortunately you gotta look for your own music to hear something with quality. All the crap is at the top and on all radio channels. I learned to avoid mainstream music completely and just find my own stuff. It's all out there tho and very easy to find. To me, the easy access to all music nowadays kind of compromises for the fact that there's only trash artists at the top that are there to make money instead of making art.
