[HD] NYSW 3040 Utica Branch to Binghamton Move

The 3040 has broken down just this last week 1/21/22. It was hauled to the shop for repair from Sangerfield. Cool to see it running in this past video.

Great video ! I'm planning at trip this Spring to get video of the tracks from Binghampton to Utica and then, following the rail lines on up to Carthage and over to Watertown. I know much of the track is gone between Lyon Falls and Carthage, but I'm going to visit those areas where the major crossings were (God willing). It's all to help a project I've been working on and I'll enjoy every minute of being out there. These videos help a lot.

That is a cool line Greene is a very classic old style 1950s town I'm glad to see repaired the line and put it back in service They need to get meters back on all the bungalows and get the gates working and the lights and bells up and running

Sadly, I have to agree with John Gnipper on this: all that money could have been better spent on road and sidewalk repair in Norwich and other towns.

They finally got everything going again and potential customers were in the process of being set up. There were maybe 4 or 5 revenue trains that actually ran cars up from Binghamton. Then it washed out again in Oxford which set everything back to square one.
