HD Pilot Showcase: Stephen Serrand

Stephen Serrand is an RC Helicopter pilot based out of Atlanta, GA. He started flying helis back when he was 13 with the Raptor 50 Titan. Flew the heck outta that thing for about 6 months but kept boom striking it practicing various 3d maneuvers. Bought his first Synergy, the N5, this heli really allowed him to open up his capabilities. Afterward, when flybarless came out he bought the N5C. This is when Matt [Botos] put me on Rail blades as a rep. Matt added him to Team Synergy right before the E5 came out. When he finally got the E5, he became a rep for Rail blades and Scorpion as well. He stopped flying around 2014. In Steven's words, "between working full time at hobby town and the drama at the field, it wasn't fun anymore and so I set the radio down. I never thought I'd pick it back up then I rode up on Mike B at the field. Got the itch back and I'm glad it did!"

Amazing camera 🎥 work. The quality and the skills of the videographer are very intense and delightful to watch. Combine that with the amazing talent of the pilot and the work done to keep the blades audible during the ✍️ make this one a very pleasant video to watch. The fact that is only 2:30 minutes makes it enticing to watch more than once. So far I have watched this video 5 times. The zoom work is impressive.
