deenman23 No to mention that this game suffers from a really bad choice system,since you never know (atleast when you are supposed to pick your first choice) when do you have to do something to avoid getting locked into a route you didn't want to (I didn't realize I was playing Suzuha's route until the credits). Getting into True Ending is another thing (without a guide,) It's *reallyyyyy* hard to get it,since you can easily get yourself locked in Shared,Mayurii or Kurisu (Add the fact that you have to "send" or "answer or ignore" some emails and phone callls,and with this choice system,it makes it worse). For me,it would have been better the "click a choice" instead of that horrible "send correct e-mail to get into a route".Storywise,it's great,but gameplay wise, it's really annoying and bad.

deenman23 Well,when it first came out,I enjoyed it (of course,if you ask me to play it now when there are better games,I will find it boring) ,but I remember it for having a terrible story (Fable 1:Village got burned,do a bunch of side-quests that have nothing to do with the story,find your mother that only wants you to free her even if she hadn't seen you for like 50 years,kill "Big-bad" for God knows why,and done).And that was 1 (2 is waay worse) Anyway,back to S;G,if you ask my opinion,my rating is this: *Story alone:7/10* (it was original,but it suffered from some "plotholes",and some "twists" were obvious.Also,the "True Ending" felt way too rushed for me) *VN:5.5/10* (5/10 if I have to choose between 5 or 6).Basically,7-2.5 because of common "technical issues",confusing choice system,and etc (don't "bash" me,this is my opinion).

I oddly enough watched the anime first. I wasn't aware at the time of what VN's were. Now although elements of the story were a bit spoiled for me because of the anime, the game offered specific endings for each major character so it was still amazing to play :D The True Ending is epic!

I always try to play the visual novels first before watching the anime adaptations, which is why I found the Steins;Gate anime a bit disappointing, actually. Also, it's actually romanized as "Luka".

I've never sobbed so much playing a game as I have with S;G, and I haven't gotten the true ending yet either. There's just a point in the game where everything becomes so heartwrenching and you truly see the characters for who they really are. Mindblowing game.

The part at 1:02 and 1:13 with “open the eyes” is literally so good. I just came to hear that. The second half music of the opening was SO GOOOD. The part at 1:23 where her voice echoes is also SO GOOD. Compared to other openings, this is superior, even though som others have better visuals. I, overall, love the musical composition of this one better. Gives the more “original steins gate” feeling.

Just played the visual novel. It was really great seeing all the different endings and this song is so good! Getting the true ending was a bit of a pain though, how you're supposed to figure out which mails to reply to without a guide is impossible.

Well technically There are two main timelines First being the one where Okabe and Mayuri go to the Conference. Christina dies.
