[HD] Train After Train in Bessemer! NS AGS South Railfanning 6-13-24

West of Birmingham, Bessemer is a historic city once important in the steel industry. While the city has declined more recently, it is still a hub for trains and especially the Norfolk Southern. We'll see lots of action on a hot Thursday morning before heading north to cool off and catch some trains on the BNSF. Enjoy!

5:55 I remember seeing that exact train passing through 14th street while I was driving that way west towards us 11, and I remember the stopped train too because it was blocking all the crossings. It’s cool to see it in a video!

Georgia has lots of good action as well, I know Atlanta gets daily UP / BNSF intermodals via haulage rights (they seem to always use western power instead of trying to swap out)

Excellent Trains You Filmed In Bessemer you know the CSX train that was crossing down the street on 32nd Street I never got the chance to see them go thru there I only see them stopping there like when the end of the train is right in front of you and it's still blocking the street you'll have to find another way across & that's because they don't be running that track often so much or maybe they have to wait for another train to get through or go through, I Don't Know.

19:31 my family actually has some connections with that station you see there, like I’m not even kidding. It’s just sad to me that this place doesn’t get that much fame because this place is such a good hotspot, there’s tracks left and right down and up and center. Bessemer was always the place I went to as a child to railfan, so to see it get the recognition it deserves is a big honor.

Lowkey bro I fw the intro. Also at 33:26, you can see the ditch lights aren't flashing. This was because the horn sequence was in automatic instead of the engineer manually laying it down. If it were her or him, the ditch lights would flash.
