I played both tank, and from my experience: Kv4 pros: You have better controls on your gun, plus your armour is very hard to penetrate if it was angled even if it's a little bit. The only weakness on the front is it's hull (which can be impenetrable by angling) and it's cupola, though kv4 cupola is quite a troll too, sometimes you penetrate, sometimes no. Lastly, kv4 could produce alot of DPS if used correctly Kv4 cons: You have way lower speed and will likely be the last heavy to reach on frontline. Kv4 also have high profile which means could be a cheap shot cupola for enemies. Kv4 is very bad at handling fast enemies, let alone multiple enemies Is3 pros: Personally my favourite, it have a super thick turret with almost no weak points and high alpha gun. Is3 is also very fast and can be used as a medium tank. It's side armour is the ultimate troll armour. You saw the weakness, but sometimes it hit on that red line and ricochet, or the track with no damage. Is3 also have low profile, which means it makes is3 a very great tank to brawl face to face, capable of handling multiple enemies at once. It's great alpha damage allows it to shoot nd run or shoot and hide, which means it pairs very well with is3 mobility. You can either play is3 as hulldown heavy or medium tank Is3 cons: Is3 might have one of the strongest turret in tier 8, but it's hull sucks alot. If it were face to face from quite a distance, enemies could easily penetrate is3 hull. It can be angled to make it harder to pen, but it's harder to even angle it the correct way. Not to mention, the is3 gun. Typical Soviet aiming you know? It's circle shrink so slow and it opens so big when moving. Even though it have good alpha, it's penetration actually sucks for tier 8. The depression also sucks, meaning if there's a hulldown place but there's a slight terrain Infront of you, you'll have to expose your whole body just to land a shot because of depressing gun depression. Unlike kv4, is3 is almost useless for angling. What makes it hard to penetrate is only the turret and troll armour. So in summary, if you want an impentr frontliner, get kv4 If you want heavy-med, brawl monster, pick is3

I prefer kv4 because it has no pike nose armor. it's hard for the pike nose armor to angle because you can't angle in open areas because they are gonna shoot at your front armor.

For Tier 8, yeah KV-4 is totally *HEAVY TANK* Even in the end at Tier 10, IS-4 is still *HEAVY* even with others new HT *because I've never played Is3 so, no comment for it 😅🔥

IS 3 is good for a type of map there have a lot of obstacle hill because the turret is impenetrable also it's good when bullying a tier 7 with your turret KV 4 good too but since I'm still stuck with the stock one (HUGE PAIN) i can't really enjoyed it
