Ma’am There’s a small correction required in your presentation 1) in Star health if you are taking the policy before 61, then there’s no co payment of 10% even on renewal 2) in Star health if you enter before the age of 61, and your sum assured 2 cr it will not reduce even on renewal. For new policy after 61 years maximum sum assured is available upto 50 lakh’s. 3) In Star health there’s no rides but all are included in the policy, in hdfc we have to take as a rider. 4) if you see the Primium Star health is value for money 5) in Star health cash less Hospitals are more

I purchased a Star Health policy for my parents for a premium of Rs 28,000 with a cover of Rs 10 lakhs three years ago. Last year, the premium increased to Rs 38,000 for the same policy, and this year, it has risen to Rs 49,000. Despite not having made any claims, the premium has nearly doubled in three years. I am considering switching policies and am leaning towards Care Health, which has quoted me Rs 32,000 for the same Rs 10 lakh coverage. Please advise on what I should do.

My parents case is same at first year it was only 19000 every year premium increased by 10000 Its 49000 now and Wrong information provided by star health So Porting to hdfc and premium is about only 25000 and cover is double with no caping

Mam !! I have a vry imp query!! I have a Term Ins HDFC LIFE Click 2 Protect Plus Life Option of 1 Crore. I took it 5 years back and they conducted TeleMedical Call and I shared my family history honestly tht my Late father was a HEART PATIENT. But in Personal Details form my Insurance Agent by mistake ticked NO at the field of - HAVE ANY OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HAS OR HAD OR DIED of HEART RELATED PROBLEM ? I didnt notice till yet. What has to do now ? Because their is divergence in both statements. I am paying premiums and policy is in effect. Is it a serious error ? or I can go to the HDFC Life office and get it corrected ? What should be the approach in this ? Please guide me !!

There may be a chance of rejection. I think you have to inform them via mail (Mail may be used for claim that you informed them before) or go to office. Of they reject your policy then you go to another policy. Otherwise you pay the term but in future claim may be fail for those reasons.
