I used the older version as the newer one renames titles of games when you install them. Even when you change the settings and un-tick database, it still does it and when you edit them it reverts back to what it was before. Annoying.

Hello Sir..I'm sorry if this is out of the topic...but I really need your help. I can add games to my internal HDD and play it in my PS2 with opl, but I can't give them the art cover. I already use OPL Manager, but it's useless, because my hardisk is unallocated and not initialized, but I have much games in my hardisk, so I can't format it. Can you help me, any thing how can I move any folders to my PS2 hardisk, without format it? Thank you

I think you got to copy the art files manually from usb to the ART folder/partition.

Do you have an idea why the program is causing problems? Everything worked with my 2tb SSD. Today I tried to copy some more games to it and now there is always an error when trying to copy. Do you have any idea why that is? It only says something about l1

I have a Sabrent 3.5 inch hard drive disclosure. It plugs into the wall. And connects to the pc with a cable. I put my hard drive in and powered on, but it won’t read my ps2 hard drive. I thought my old one broke. I know the ps2 hard drive works. I just got done playing a bunch of ps2 games on my ps2. This brand new won’t work either. Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong. It was working before. I know I haven’t put ps2 games on the hard drive in a while. Maybe I’m missing a step I forgot.

This method you don't defrag the HD as Windows doesn't recognize the ps2 format hard drive. For UDPBD I need to teach myself how that works before I can do a guide, if you have a resource let me know.

@@ProjectPhoenixMedia There's this dev called Matias Israelson who said UDPBD method is gonna be faster than the iLink method, but they're still working on it. There are some OPL forks that can run games via the UDPBD

did you haver figure out to put art files. My dont show up when I put them in +OPL. copied from the usb. Only thing I noticed that that is before you get to that file is its named HDD0. I have my opl boot memory card on slot 1. Im lost trying to put the art files.

A game disc isn't required, but this method you do need a fat ps2 and internal hard drive.

Is there a way i can move the ISOs from the ps2 hdd back to my computer? I was trying to switch over to an exfat format for the ps2 so need to move the isos before reformatting the drive

If I recall there might be an option in the program to export the ps2 game from hdd back to PC, but don't quote me on this. Worst case scenario if cannnot, re-rip the game or find a site online to get same game(s).

@@Jackmiov i was thinking maybe the hdd was faulty but was also thinking it couldn’t be if the ps2 read it when i formatted it on ulaunch.elf. Only wish i would have gotten the dock instead of the sata usb lol. Thanks again man. Have a blessed day.

For that method I think just copying to the microsd iso into the CD or DVD folder is sufficient.

@@ProjectPhoenixMedia Yes, sir. Open PS2 Launcher had this BETA come out last month (I presume) by a member of the community, and it allows for straight ISO disc image loading of games. I personally haven't tried it yet though!

PS1 do popstarter method or one of the PS1 softmod hacks. Grimms version is separate fork and is for PS2 games only

You can use PFSBatchKitManager to install multiple PS1 games at a time, assuming you have the necessary __.POPS partition on your HDD.

Not really hidden, you just click and drag like normal Windows, or use the CTRL or SHIFT keys to select multiple (also just like normal Windows)
