The A345 is a special one to see. You see them for private or government flights while the A346 still flies. I remember and flew with South African airways A346 JNB - JFK - JNB.

It looks like VIP planes are for a United Nations summit. Many of them will fly about 50 miles north to park at New York Stewart. Much cheaper parking and other fees. Not to be pedantic, but the NYC metro area actually has six airports, although JFK/EWR/LGA are by far the busiest. There is also White Plains, Stewart, and MacArthur Islip.

I just had a small little question, at around 14:20 we see the Qantas 787 taking off but how come the bottom of the beacon light is on without blinking unlike the one on top? Is this a feature or something? Because I’ve seen it in many Boeing planes but never quite understood it.

Stewart airport is one of the main airports that countries park their government planes during the UNGA event as JFK doesn’t have the space to store them all. Feel free to do your own research, I would suggest looking at NYCAviations online forum about UNGA 2023 which lists where all the planes went to. Thanks for watching! 😁
