hey! Spectacular dreamcast collection huh! congratulations!!!! I bought 2 adapters like this for my dremcasts, and they work very well, but when I go to capture a video with my capture card it goes crazy... when I go to record through it, via USB, the video is out of the correct position, eating half of the image on one side, and when I try to do a live with the same card it keeps freezing.... but on other consoles and converters the card works fine... what could it be, huh? What card do you use?

That is a strange issue, I cant say that's happened to me at all. I use OBS for capturing and a cheep £20 capture card from Amazon for the rest. The card did take a bit of getting used to and I did have to mess around with all sorts of options in OBS to get it looking decent. It did take quite a lot of tweaking to get the picture to look sharp as my DC cable tends to output a very fuzzy picture.

The issue i have with these Dreamcast to HDMI cables is they tend to use the VGA signal and thus don't work with some games. I am guessing thats the case with this one?

Yeah I have found a select few game that require me to use a standard scart. Star gladiator being one of them, it plays but most of the picture is missing.

Does it work with Daytona USA 2001 and Metropolis Street Racer?

I've not tried it with Msr yet, but it works perfectly fine with Daytona.

does this stretch the image on HDTV I'm after something that will play the games in full-screen aspect 16.9

Yes it does stretch the image so any wide screen supported games will be full screen 16.9

A few games don't work at all and others like star gladiator do not display correctly. I think it has something to do with compatibility with VGA output.
