This is without a doubt the best band that ever existed. I have been a fan for over 50 yrs. Kids today have no clue. I was fortunate to live in the most extraordinary time period. The best music, and we were free, fun loving people. That's so lost today.

My 6 yrs old daughter who doesn't speak English loves Pink Floyd. One day she came home after school, I told her I still had to work ( I work at home as tailor). And I went down in my atelier. After an hour I went up and I heard the music of Time. I came into the living room where I saw my little daughter lay in the sofa, listening to Pink Floyd. She did switched on the television and connected it to internet and opened the application that her father paid to listen to the music. She opened my Pink Floyd Playlist and listened to it while waiting for mother. And when she recognized that I went back, she smiled. I asked her: you love this music too? It's not your age...She said: why not,? I love this...So I'm very happy. She loves most of Pink Floyd's songs, specially Time, Shine on you crazy diamond and High Hopes...I played Led Zeppelin for her, she likes them too but she said that the guitar of Jimmy Page is too strong for her ears, she prefers the guitar of David Gilmour :). I just wish that Sir Gilmour will have a concert here in France so that I can take my daughter to see him. Pink Floyd and David helped me so much to get through my difficult moments

I listen to 3 Gilmour videos almost daily. I too say, I lived during the greatest generation for music and yes, free and fun loving times. Those were the days. Saw many concerts locally, had the privilege to see many great bands, early years, sadly never saw Pink Floyd, so having these KZbin videos posted, its great! Thanks to HDPinkFloyd for all of them. The Royal Albert Hall video is awesome too.

Today, more than 40 years have passed and when I listen to these wonderful concerts I tell myself that the Floyd still exists, again and again and that his music has not taken the shadow of a single wrinkle. It was a dream come true for a young man from behind the Iron Curtain. A gift I made to myself for my 25th birthday. Poland defeated communism, we could travel around Europe. Something that was unimaginable and impossible a few years ago suddenly became a reality. A trip to Berlin to the Olympic Stadium. And 2 hours of being in another world. Indescribable. I still love to go back to those moments. Still in my memory. Forever. Like an enldess river...

I was at the NJ Meadowlands in 94. It was my 5th time seeing Pink Floyd. The Biggest thing you might not notice is Nick Mason was a Genius and creating a Delay of his beat. If you notice Gilmour is always hitting the notes with the drums 1/16th behind. That's what gave the Flavor and Success. Also, the lack of Consistent Rythum as they change it so many times in their songs. I do miss Rick Wright, being the soul of the Band. I cherish these videos.

Seen Pink Floyd at Oakland Coliseum Division Bell tour in 1994. What I still remember is that we rode the BART train to the show. For some reason the tune "Run Like Hell" kept bouncing around in my head. I have been a huge fan of the Pulse Album and blew speakers out due the bombastic finale of "Run Like Hell"!!! I have seen this video document before but I swear Gilmore & friends outdid themselves completely torching the finale of "Run Like Hell". I always thought the way it ends sounded like Richard Wright's way of saying goodbye :)

In 1972 in September at winter land just that late afternoon I had learned that Pink Floyd was going to perform. In a panic I convinced a dear friend who was going to be there. . . After coming up with the five dollars for a ticket at the door, I showed up at her door. Turns out she was going on a first date with some older guy in his MG MIGET. Spire two seater car if there ever was one. After a little wrangling I slipped behind the seats and got to Winterland in S.F. Just in time to walk straight to the ticket window and got right in. Waiting for over and hour for my friends who had paid in advance in a line that went around the building. We found ourselves on the floor directly in front of David Gilmore not more than five maybe six feet. Could have literally reached out and touched him. The show started late as it was told to us they were going to close the entrance so everyone could see the entire show. On a side note , we had taken LSD before we drove there and then taken alittle more just before they came on stage. Opening with “Time “, and not ever heard it before was amazing. At the crescendo when David hit that high note , staring straight at him , he looked straight into my eyes at that unbelievable moment, hit that note and for a split second we were locked, I almost fell backwards. Emearsed in the fog that poured from the stage I was in another world. All of us close the stage happily swimming in the fog amid hallucinations and music from Heaven. I could go on how the rest of the show was equally beautiful and amazing..... at the end, they walked of and the house lights came on exposing the lifeless instruments glistening quietly, a fitting end to the most spectacular musical event I’d ever seen. Before or after. My dear friend Susan wouldn’t leave. Transfixed as I was , it took us more than an hour to muster the ability to start walking. Not a word spoken in the way back. If we can choose any moment experienced in life to bring to heaven to relive , that concert is by and large it for me. Thanks be to God for giving me the friend and circumstances to make that evening unforgettable.

Great video 👍. Thanks for posting this video! It’s great having this on KZbin. Pink Floyd has always been one of my favorite bands. My older brother had Dark side of the Moon on an 8 track tape. I remember listening to it in his car as we were ticking away the moments that make up a dull day.

I met David Gilmour outside Cafe Luxembourg NYC. He was having dinner after the Aboutface concert at the Beacon Theatre, NYC. We tried to go backstage but were blocked. We then saw Andy Warhol and followed him to Cafe Luxembourg and saw Gilmour through the window. Steve Martin came out first from the Cafe, made some funny remarks and we got his autograph on the Aboutface concert program guide. Very casual funny entertaining guy, it was a pleasure meeting him. Paul Simon came out next and I shook his hand that is smaller than mine. Really nice guy. After a very long dinner, 90+ min later, David Gilmour came out of the Cafe and heard that we saw his concert and are waiting for his autograph. He was last to autograph. One of my favorite artists. Wow, what an amazing night.

In 1973 at the age of eleven, I borrowed my older brother's copy of Darkside of the Moon and a little cassette play my Dad had. I recorded the album on to cassette and though the quality was crappy I listened to that tape for hours and hours until it wore out. The first recording of music that I ever owned. A few years l later I had the mind-shattering experience of listening to Wish You Were Here will tripping on acid. That's a story for another time. Regardless the music of Pink Floyd had a profound influence on me during my adolescence. Always regretted I never got to see them in concert.
