My car is a 2002 model VY SS Commodore with a stock LS1 V8 engine ,aftermarket cat back exhaust system & custom headers fitted,it has had a tune done on it to increase the flywheel power by 41 kilowatts to 276 kW from 235 kW which I'm happy with,it also has the VY clubby 3.91:1 diff gears fitted which makes it perform better than the stock car does. My point is at present Holden only have a 191 kilowatt 4 cylinder turbo engine in the brand new lift back sedan & 235 kilowatt 3.6 litre V6 engine in the wagon - WOW !!!! I don't know what GM has done at present but I was looking forward to seeing a 32 valve version of the 6.2 litre V8 in the newer Commodores,hopefully by 2021 that will be sorted out. The only bigger V8 options at the moment is the Infiniti QX70 SUV which is fitted with the VK50VD (5 litre) V8 engine or the new Chryslers which are fitted with the 6.4 litre Hemi V8 engine. I have seen a right hand version of the Toyota Tacoma in Australia which has the U.S. built 5.7 litre Toyota V8 engine fitted,Lexus only have a 4 litre V8 engine ,it may as well be a six, they are proposing to release a 450 kilowatt twin turbo version in Australia. So what the hell has GM & Ford done in Australia ?

Oh ! Infiniti only fit the Nissan VK56VD V8 engine into the QX80 now which is only a Nissan Pathfinder type of vehicle, I don't know why they don't have that in the Q70 as an option now,the V8 model of sedan in the U.S. is the Q70L.
