So in the bad ending, you get the promotion of a lifetime, while in the good ending, you basically just get a high five from Granger?
@XYZ-eo8um4 жыл бұрын
Something like that. I'm not even surprised that TW's GDI (minus Granger maybe) doesn't give any damn about civilians in yellow zones.
@22kingdomheartsfan3 жыл бұрын
You get an awesome promotion after you just basically killed millions and millions of people, some of which are your own soldiers, who believed you could lead them into battle and get them home, damage the planet with so much Tiberium, which that is poison to people, causing quite frankly long lasting effects. So the bad ending is basically "I have the blood of millions on my hand, but that's perfectly fine, cause I'm best buddies with the guy who gave me the power to do this".
@YuriYoshiosan3 жыл бұрын
It's simple. If you hate Granger, do the bad ending. He retires if you do so. If you don't, just do the good ending. It's better like that.

Still amuses me that the "Bad" ending is also the canon ending, since in Tiberium Twilight, GDI is much more bureaucratic in nature than the militaristic leadership they've had in prior games, plus the world is in a worse state than ever before. Really makes you think.

Use the Liquid T to get the bad ending. Use the Ion Cannon, or just Brute Force 100 Juggernaut rush there, you'll get the good ending. The good ending make Granger stay in the GDI while the bad one make him retire.
@tim.3334 жыл бұрын
You can di this mission with the bad ending in like 10 seconds if you destroy like every building you have you directly get the bomb and then you have to olace it beetween Nod and Scrin. (Sorry for my Englisch)

GDI dependent on Tiberium for non-weapon purpose
@iago3182 жыл бұрын
Never understood the idea behind the control node. The scrin probably didn't have it on Earth when they first landed and invaded, but now they all stop functioning without it? Seems like a convenient plot device for the player to get a big win moment as GDI.
@Mandragara Жыл бұрын
In space most of their units were inactive. They needed the relay node to boost the amount of tiberium radiation being emitted to power their entire army. My headcanon is that if their deployment wasn't premature, they wouldn't need the relay node, the native radiation levels would be good enough
@Shrooblord9 ай бұрын
Plus! This wasn't a full-blown invasion force. These were just harvesters. "Small fry" to come and collect the lovely resources from a freshly blooming Tiberium planet. Oh, some local resistance. The usual. We'll take care of that. Wait... this planet... it's not remotely as converted as it should've been. There's way more aliens here than there should have been... Keep in mind almost all Scrin heal / are enhanced by Ion Storms, something that a "fully blooming Tiberium World" surely would've been in abundance of, it might've been a much different picture.
@amada2194 жыл бұрын
So this is the bad ending but It is a good ending you erase the scrin , the earth is safe .
@player2-lightwater9144 жыл бұрын
It is a bad ending. Never a good ending at all. Using Liquid Tiberium Bomb to end the war will only set a precedent for GDI to be dependent on Tiberium just like Nod. In Kane's Wrath Act 3 (took place 5 years after this mission and Nod's final mission), GDI didn't have any Tiberium-based weapons in their arsenals. Even in Tiberian Twilight, GDI didn't have any Tiberium-based weapons in their arsenals. This means that GDI canonically never used Liquid Tiberium Bomb. You can actually defeat the Scrin without using Liquid Tiberium Bomb. By doing that, you get the good ending.

@@player2-lightwater914 Sorry to blow your dream, but Redmond Boyle is in the leading Council of GDI in C&CT, Granger is gone, the Canon Ending is The T Bomb one, also, what precedent are you talking about? Are you not dependent on Tiberium? Oh then I suppose you play the entire Game without harvesting a single Tiberium Crystal?
@player2-lightwater9143 жыл бұрын
@@1Ashram The precedent I'm refering to is using Tiberium as weapons. GDI have principles against using Tiberium as weapons like Nod. At best, GDI harvest tiberium for non-weapon purpose or used for upgrades. In the good ending, Redmond Boyle was charged with war crimes for authorising the use of Liquid Tiberium Bomb (he also secretly approved the creation of that weapon) which is why he resigned to avoid being charged. Also what is C&CT? Is it a spinoff game or novel? C&C spinoff games and novels are non canon.
