I can appreciate that he didn't stop with the hunting, because I could even feel, that that run was not satisfying. Tbh I hunt maps like these... Records are something else, whats more important, that I can say for myself, that this run was good. Not perfect, not world record, probably not even TOP100, but for me it was satisfying, and that gives the joy of hunting something.

I just wanted to say that while I came for the Trackmania gameplay (and still REALLY enjoy that part, I've even started playing a bit of it myself), I've also been absolutely LOVING the music you play in the background, especially the covers. Its always a great moment to realize that not only do I recognize the song from one of my favorite games of all time (as has happened a couple times, specifically with Xenoblade and Under Night In Birth), its a COVER that really brings something new to the table. Absolutely love your stuff

Oh my god, thank you so much for the actions key display! It's absolutely invaluable paired with your keyboard inputs to see what you are doing and how you're driving, it's a massive, massive improvement. Action keys are such an invisible and mysterious thing that it's really hard to understand how you use them, but the visualisation makes everything make so much sense. I would've loved to see this during Deep Dip 2 honestly, to me it's as essential as the I put display. Thank you!

i think my favorite part of your approach to Trackmania, Wirtual, is your insistence on reminding the audience that it's okay to play casually. like, you keep saying stuff like "you can get really far without even thinking of the existence of [quantum slides etc.]", and it's really heartening to hear that - a lot of top-class players in games/disciplines with a high skill ceiling will focus ENTIRELY on high-level play and it can get discouraging for beginners sometimes

I like that you turned ghosts off half way through the video. It can be helpful, but it's also important to remember something you said early on: you're driving to learn the track and improve your knowledge and understanding, not just to beat your pb. Racing against a ghost can make one want to do what it does but better. But that's not necessarily the best thing one can do, you won't find new lines if you keep trying to do the old ones better.
