30 years of duck hunting I have never gotten one to break and move like that lol. The best we did was spend half the night running the boat in circles to keep it from freezing

That hole has been sweet this season! Another nice hunt Aiden! I would get that one mounted, especially where you are at in the country. Down here in Louisiana they do get better by the end of the season, but that one is very nice for December.

4's and 3's at birds that close with nothing tighter then an IC. I understand budget and availability though. 4's will kill geese just fine at 35 yrds if you put the pattern on the bird. Do not feel undergunned with 3's then 2's. Do your part and they are plenty. Well done. I like that you have patience when they dive in feet out. You are good on the call, sometimes less is more.

Anyone that puts down the Shovler, adores the Bluewing Teal, biologically there isn't much difference on the table. They are very close cousins, like the bass and bluegill which both are wonderful to eat.

California we have to shoot that crazy steel and guys don't let the birds work in they love to do a 70-yard skybust and see if we can cripple a bird it might sail away and try telling my shooters to shoot when they're over the decoys complete the kill

So true about being ethical when hunting any game. I've gotten ducks with chest loaded with old shot and deep healing wounds. Nasty business duck ended up as dog food.
