Okay I have story for the selfish thing so I have a best friend(rethinking that) so she was preparing for a competitive exam and it is very hectic all the time even if you are not studying because your mind is always guilt tripping you and all of things so she was preparing and I am also but my exam was 4 months after hers I used to text her call her she actually used to never pick up and reply after like a week or 10 days later this was before her exam like 2-3 months and when her exam was near I stopped calling or texting understanding the fact she must be busy so in this phase I felt bad which is not the first time, when we were in college she immediately had grp but it took me time to find my people during that as well she kinda left me but I used to forget all that as soon as she used to come back and talk to me( mostly about how her grp friends suck) so then after her exam is done she has started calling me back texting me telling me that I really want to meet you and all I am both happy and mad because it's just 15 days left for mine and she in a conversation on text casually said" ek din se kya hoga" and I was super mad.. now I don't want to even meet like oh I need or want to it's like okay I will maybe. Sometimes I try to come to conclusion am I right or she or both wrong seeing her past actions I feel she is not really the best friend good friend but not the best Loved the podcast keep growing ❤❤❤

so if you know that the exam is really important to your friend and can alter their future then you should not mind her not calling or messaging you but again based on your other incidence i feel your friend is just taking you and your time for granted. I feel you should find new friends and don't expect things from friends.

I know the exam is really important but thing that puts me off is she not realising or even considering that mine's too . And simple things like I have a life too as hectic as any other person and as you said taking it for granted.
