I'm watching a lot of videos with Chris and he delivers his ideas in a very clear way. I like that. I was like "yes, great you can ask for a lot of money and there is people buying, but what if I can't replicate this yet and need to pay the bills?" and he actually answers this in another video saying something like: if you can close a lot of deals you should price more, if you're receiving many "no" you're asking too much. Very simple yet effective way of thinking.

Skip to 56:17 Importance of finding the right coach or mentor. Then go to the beginning and watch this video. Chris resonates with me because he doesn’t pretend to have all the answers and allows you to see him evolving in his thought process on-the-fly rather than regurgitating templated spiel each time. I also appreciate his candor on Gary V whose prediction content has not aged well as I suspected would be the case years ago. Great discussion 👏🏾

Love Chris, have been following Chris since 2015-2016 and the comments about Gary Vee stuck with me quite a bit. Was also following him back then, but I continued following Chris-the difference is, I think, Chris was/is an introvert, still remember back in the day with Jose Caballer and The Skool. That was when I was also similar and connected with the introverted side of you, and now you're taking over the world. Seeing you go through that transformation gave me permission to also go through that transformation. So Chris, you've been able to be a mentor from afar, and you've always focused on giving value from day one. So with that, I know that when I see a video of you, I know I'm going to take something of value from it. This episode is no exception, listened to it once, and took some notes + shared some time stamps with Andra (wife) and my brother. Will listen to it again. The part about where you tell stories to learn who you are is so connective and relatable. Excited for what you're doing Chris, and well done on this conversation Eric! What a blast!

Also, Eric, I really enjoy your interview style. I appreciate you asking the deeper questions so that it's not just surface answers. And then there are those little gems like how asking people if they've ever invested in a mastermind before is one of the best indicators of ability and willingness to pay.

Chris brought a lot of MINDFUL insights to this conversation. Wish it could have been a bit slower, so Eric could have engaged a little bit more in the concepts and perspectives that Chris was putting forth. Overall though, a great one and I thank the both of you for putting this out for us to watch!

One of the best compliments i get is when people are surprised that how I am in person is exactly how I am online. (A client joked because she didn't think I was SO feral about Star Trek as I show up online, and I go to events in a Starfleet uniform 😂) Anything else than authenticity and transparency would be exhausting.

Is there a statistic analysis of people that made it without a couch and people who had a couch? I think people that chose a couch would have succeded without it. Is all an insecurity market. People that need someone to reasure them because they are afraid of doing things. Like an over priced psychologist.

I don't think he witholds. I just think he is a traditional corporate/brick and mortar CEO. His online success was a secondary effect of his more tangible organizational experience. People don't really have an interest in what GaryVee is best at (building real-life businesses). His brand is just an after effect and definitely still a helpful voice for those who need that bridge into the mind of an entrepreneur or to take risks beyond what is not working for them currently. I wouldn't call Gary V a personal brand expert. He's a good all-around business man and yes this includes solid branding, marketing and content creation.

I don’t even watch GaryVee anymore but I didn’t since Ask GaryVee Ep. 33. Chris Do can’t even hold a pinky to what GaryVee has accomplished. Go sit in the corner with the other little kids, including myself 😅. See you in the kiddie corner my guy.

Selective hearing. He didn’t say Gary vee is terrible. But his content formula is bad for the time where there is slot of good storytellers and content creators. And he is recycling a narrative for too long. Still a great person and entrepreneur but needs to innovate his approach of delivering content.
