I guessed 18.25 ...then did theformula ×800 and then by 750... when i used × 800, it came out to 16.9 lbs. and when i used × 750, it came out to 18.1. Because of the color that the fish had and how far up the river it was whenshawn caught it, I have to say that it was probably just under the 18.1 lb. mark, at like 17.5 to 17.75 lbs. ...No matter what, a truely awesome specimen by anyones standards. I've caught a handful of 20 plus pounders lutta that drainage and one of them was 30.63 lbs. Wdighed on a scale at the local grocery store. The o e they use in the meat department...!!! Toly stoked for you Shawn..!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the rest of your trip there's a bigger one waiting for you so get your shit back in the water a'ight brother..!!!!!!!

i remember the video when you left your wading boots at home because you were fishing at a creek i know every inch of by heart, i was there the day you filmed the video and ran into you all on the trail i was only a young boy and had no idea who hyou were yet but it is now an honor to know we have fished the same waters and i hope to see you out there again one day

What an inspirational video. I'v watched what I think to be most all of what I think you guys have put out. All I can say is thank you. Your how to tutorials have completely altered my self tried and hours of observing others techniques that I can only shake my head at today. I moved here to north west Wash. from Iowa, back in 1997 at 29 yrs. old. Having had fished pan fish my whole life. It was mostly by accident upon hooking into my first King salmon that I experienced what was honestly my life changing moment that since has left me to this day, with an insatiable appetite to fish. Whenever I could get away, and sometimes when I shouldn't have. I am truly addicted. Not at first but over the years of hours and hours on the water. I managed only a couple seasons filling and having to obtain a second punch card. I began to think I was getting good. It wasnt till this 2020 season in early July after being hit by a drunk driver on my motor cycle, and having to rehab and stay completely off my recostructed lower left leg. That I had alot of time to view and learn so much from your videos. After five weeks in the hospital receiving I.V antibiotics fighting a staph infection that has cost me the knuckels and 2" of both my 3rd and 4th toes metatarples, not to mention this whole season. I find myself more hungry than ever, " jonesing" to fish and try all the new things I have learned watching the addicted life. I look forward to start every new day by seeing what new material you have put out for us addicted. I have two more weeks of antibiotics to receive here in the hospital, then several months of physical therapy before I can even think of getting my foot into my waders. I can't wait to utilize my newfound skills and techniques learned by your videos and again want to say thank you for the content. David Berg North Whatcom Co. Wa.

You guys are such an inspiration, making my angling better in every aspect of the game. I'm used to catching small brookies in the mountains as well as cut throat. I always thought you would have to be a bad ass fly fisherman to catch steelies but you have opened my eyes. I’ve always drove down the rivers on the way to the coast here in Oregon and have seen the guys along the bank and in the boats steelhead fishing. I have always really wanted to commit myself to the fishery but since I can not drive yet, I only get to go out an fish for 1-2 days a year. I find these videos really cool and the information on them has really helped me gain success not only on those few outings for steelhead but also for trout and other fish species. My biggest Steelhead weighed 21.47 lbs. Caught it on a plug! There's a 32 lb. that's been mounted in a store I go to. He was caught on the lower Quinault!
