Are the leads in a relationship? Their chemistry together in the drama feels like they are a real couple in real life. First time seeing the ML so relaxed and easygoing. ML has a little smirk that is so gosh darn condescending...lol. I truly enjoyed this version of this plot very much. This version added a few new elements, and the chemistry was sizzling between the two main leads. The SML character was actually truly annoying and so delusional about his ownership of FL and her emotions and actions, but I think it was probably because this version also showed a lot more emotional depth between the characters, maybe with the exception of FL and her real parents. So far (and I'm three quarters through it), they have not shown much of the main parents' relationship with FL, but as usual I love her interactions with SML's parents, who were more parental to her than her own. I also enjoy that the glimpses into the misunderstandings that led to ML and FL's broken relationship are more nuanced than in other versions.

Ive seen the 1st version of this plot. I must say this have more indepth to the story and plot line. I like this version more as it have better interpretation. This version is kinda interesting than previous 4 or 5 versions I watched because FL proposed the divorce right after SML's return, it wasn't like that in other ones. Also the relationship between FL and her mother is really different from the other ones I have watched, in the other versions it's either her stepmom or adoptive mom who always causes troubles to her 8:33 wow this ML is more domineering than other ones 😂 😂 12:01 even the entry is different from the other ones 😂 😂 24:33 so much different from other ones😮, even the employees from ML's company recognize FL as the one ML adores 24:47 28:38 FINALLY!!!!!!!! a version that really shows the childhood connection between FL and ML, in all the other ones I only saw that FL's childhood photo that ML keeps with him without knowing the story behind 36:09 the directors and writers really have done a good job at improvising the scenes to make this version stand out from other versions, this is sooooo different from day time golf games 44:42 - 45:35 😮this is very new, I mean yeah there are argument scenes and flashback scenes from their past in other versions too but here in has been portrayed in a new way, it seems like more than a diary issue where as in other versions it's mostly SFL tricking SML to believe FL hates him by showing fake diary entries 46:51 even this mental health issue usage is really an admirable new element. I like it when they make the effects of these relationship issues more practical and relatable to the general public 54:38 this part is just like the very first version I watched, the raw emotions and thoughts have been portrayed in a very natural way 57:06 - 58:29 this part never fail to ache my heart and tear me up a lil bit no matter how many versions I watch 1:17:09 here comes the diary entry 1:22:34 they are so cute, especially ML, he is so domineering and overbearing yet become little bit submissive when it comes to FL 1:22:57 that "hmmp" in the end 😂 😂 so cute 1:23:58 "Is this man does not understand human language?" is his brain twisted or something, they were never together so how could she cheat on him even if she wants to? 1:27:39 their marriage has been nullified since the beginning, they only held a wedding ceremony, on papers they are still single since there didn't get the marriage certificates, so there is no adulterers involved 😆 1:50:36 Finally getting the clear explanation of the relationships between FL and the Jiang family. In other versions they don't actually explain it well. Also I love how FL responded, Finally someone knocked some sense in to these people who blames the kids for getting switched 2:00:43 this is a new thing FL telling SFL about her and SML's marriage certificate thing never happened in any other version, it was always SML who tells it to SFL after confronting her for faking FL's signature in a divorce agreement 2:02:45 AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN THAT WAS SOOO EMBARRASING. If it's me I would have crawled into a hole 😭 😭 2:05:20 That's my girl 🔥 🔥 2:08:33 FROM HERE ON EVERYTHING IS A NEW ELEMENT TO THIS PLOT. 2:20:50 She is far better than all FL's stepmoms, adoptive moms, foster moms (except for ex-in-laws aka SML's family) of this storyline. I could always see she still had a soft spot for FL all along the drama, except for that birthday party scene where she agreed to accept SFL as her god-daughter. 2:32:06 🥺❤‍🩹 Here comes my essay The dynamic of her in-laws is something I enjoyed in every version. It's always heart-warming to see a FL who is ignored by her husband is being treated with love and respect by her in-laws. I loved it. They said Happiness>>>> pride & prestige. I love how they are more understanding that when they realize FL's marriage life is taking a toll on her mental and physical well-being, they decided to put an end to the suffering. After all feelings cannot be forced. Even if they love her like their own daughter/granddaughter/sister, if the main purpose of the marriage which is the healthy bond made of love, trust and understanding between the husband and wife is not there, then there's no point in continuing the marriage. Besides even after the divorce they can still show love and care for FL, if they truly love her for her who she is. And they did just that. The only sad part is they didn't reappear in the drama once FL left their house after separating from SML once and for all. In the very first version I watched she even had a sis-in-law (SML's younger sis) who is just as sweet as her father-in-law and mother-n-law and a grandfather-in-law too, And not just that in that version FL even introduces ML to them in the end as her new boyfriend and they even bless them both. I wish this version would have had a scene like that too FL's strong, sort of arrogant and indifferent personality seems like a survival instinct to her surrounding with a husband who is unfaithful, cheating and non-caring, and a family that disowned her. It also could also be a psychological protective mechanism. And I personally think she's very cool. The way she remained strong even after going through a rough psychological trauma. Not just that she even didn't hesitate to seek professional help for her mental health issues and psychological traumas. I really give credits for the writer to the way her character has been written and also to the actress for her great acting. She always put on a strong girl persona and a calm and composed attitude whenever she had deal with her enemies. Also she never neglected the fact that she can be vulnerable to, that she can be heartbroken and feel sad, even if she never spoke out these with anyone, she cried whenever she felt like. Also they way she handled the entire assault incident is something very new to see, I mean the way she wanted to face it and get over it once and for all, I am pretty sure it is really something many girls out there wanted see. And the way she tried to understand ML's situation from his side, even tho she is the ultimate victim is so heart wrenching. I GENUINELY DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!!!! The audacity of these husbands to think that they have the right to feel wronged by the wife after messing around with their mistress and getting her pregnant??? LIKE WHAT?!!!!!!! and here he just didn't stop there, he literally took his mistress abroad literally on his wedding day with his wife right after the event!!!!!!! Are you freaking Dumb????? Is your brain just for decoration purposes?? THIS DOUBLE STANDARD, HYPOCRITICAL, BRAINLESS, SENSELESS, GOOD-FOR-NOTHING BEINGS ARE REALLY INFURIATING Just to imagine there's a possibility of real life existence of such characters really making me sooo mad!!!!!!!!!!!!! UH!!!!!!!!!!!! 😠😠😠😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬 He even dared to call her an adulterer. I mean bro I don't support adulteration and extra-marital affairs and stuffs. I would never in a million years would support that. But bro you talk like you are 100% innocent. Just think how she ended up being in such a situation. You are reason why she had to focus on another man in the first place Ok it's true SML was manipulated by SFL, so his behavior of hurting FL emotionally is understandable considering the fact he is being manipulated for 3+ years. BUT it's crazy to see how some these men are So open to believe someone without an investigation or a research, especially the kind of informations that can shatter families, bonds, relationships, trust, and even partnerships. Even if it's told by your own family, blood relatives, bffs, in-laws, or even your life-savior. It's not because you doubt them or you have no trust in them, it's because you have to make sure no one is getting hurt, mistreated, slandered, punished unnecessarily and falsely ML's character in this storyline never disappoints. Actor did a great job at portraying it. It's not easy to break the walls of a hurt heart, especially when she is all she has to rely on after being backstabbed, lied, cheated on, ignored, disowned, neglected, hated upon for all the wrong reasons. It's only natural for her to lose hope in love, trust and bonds. ML needs to put extra efforts to break the walls, then the heart to let it go, recuperate and slowly get back to normal so that she can trust someone again. Also the way he responded after realizing what exactly happened 6 years ago is heartbreaking to see, I mean it is obvious he himself didn't know the entire story and didn't remember a thing, but yet he felt so guilty and even a sense of self-betrayal. It wasn't easy for both of them. But he never gave up on FL even for a moment. Even before discovering the whole truth, he never gave up on FL for being violated, Unlike many other men who isolate, ostracize and look down on the women who have been a subject of harassments, assault and violation. Great version of the standard plot where Cinderella enemies torture her but fate connects her with her true love. Yes, watch this drama. Must give the writers credit for plots and dialog different and more enjoyable than most drama have, even when it's the same storyline. Also, I keep the volume very low and follow the subtitles, but the dialog in this one especially gave enough inflection in their speech patterns to make it almost like I was understanding what they were saying thanks to great acting. Excellent drama.

When the 2ML thought,'Does she really not love me anymore?' I rolled. It's like, what's there to love. Let's see 1. Should she love the fact he talks to and treats her like crap for his preggers GF 2. Should she love that he lived abroad for 3 yrs with her ex best friend who's now oreggers 3. Should she love the fact he's always blaming her for stuff preggers GF lies about 4. Should she love the fact he takes the preggers GF everywhere publicly while supposedly married to her 5. Or should she love the fact he believes FL should stay in this threesome forever where he keeps his parents content, thinking FL is their daughter-in-law while he plays happy families with preggers GF I mean, these are the things I need to know. I loved the leads together. Great chemistry. He stands up for and protects her. He respects her strength and abilities. They are so good together.

The skinship between ML and FL was totally fab. The 2ML was stupid beyond reason. If he hated his girlfriend/wife that much, just say bye and drop her. Why prolong all the drama for six years and taking another woman overseas, etc,? Then, after returning with a pregnant mistress, he had the audacity of scolding his "wife" for being unfilial, rude and lastly, accused her of cheating. LOLOL. Also, the FL was beyond beautiful. As for the ML, just one tiny criticism--too much lipstick. LOLOL.
