The seller in the garage was a sweetheart of a lady. I loved all the cool Halloween stuff she had. Funny observation. When I was buying stuff to sell on Ebay one of the best finds I ever bought was a wooden handle Case XXX Grapefruit Knife. I knew that brand name knives sell well and they only wanted .25 cents for this one. After researching it I found out that this is the knife that they used to make Freddie Kruger's famous bladed glove. I also found out that "Fred Heads" (Freddie Kruger fans) will pay a lot for original blades to make a realistic copy of his glove. These knives are so rare now that they were going for around $150 on Ebay. I listed mine for $160 and immediately sold it! I believe that's about a 640% profit. I also know about cameras and bought a 50's model Graflex Professional Medium format journalist bellows camera for $3.00. I was in a case with about 40 film holders, two boxes of unused film, an old light meter and some odds and ends. About half the film holders had exposed film on them, but I didn't have a way to develop them. No one at the auction knew what the camera was because it was folded flat, like an oversized cigarette case, so I got it dirt cheap. I put it up for auction on Ebay starting at $100 and it sold for $375. The bellows had no holes in it and the camera still worked! The guy that bought it said he would develop the exposed film and let me know what was on them, but he never did contact me. I often wondered if there were previously unseen pictures of famous people on them that could've been worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and maybe that's why he never contacted me!

The awkwardness of showing up with a camera is definitely one of the biggest hurdles to get over if you wanna create this kind of content. I'm comfortable with it on a flea market and convention level on my channel. Yard sales are still more of a mobile phone, grab what footage you can situation as I'm nervous about anyone that might take it as an invasion of privacy. But I like watching them so I appreciate what you're doing.

Hey man lolol that was my yard sale!!! I can tell you exactly what I paid for the keyboards and had them for 10 years and could never sell them. As far as the rest the recorded was the only thing I bought new. The helmet was a toss in from a buyout I did and was worth over 100 but didn't have the time to post it and it was before the new helmet design so didn't list it.
