Before anyone brings up the impossibility that he can't be 60 and have been in Vietnam. Please remember that this was posted to iands back in 2007 and then reposted in 2015. What a beautiful accounting!!! I too had an NDE post-op about 14 years ago, when I died after a bowel blockage surgery that had complications. I was hovering over my body in the hospital room, near the ceiling, hearing the machines, but I felt pulled to the light opening above me. I won't go into all of the details here and now, but I too came face-to-face with Jesus Christ, and He too sent me back, but with a purpose. I was to share my experience of His love and peace with all that I knew, and to be there for my sons. My life, no, I have forever changed since those few minutes in our true home.

To the author,Thank you for sharing your experience with us all! My 80 year old Dad is a Vietnam Veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange. Thankfully he didn't get cancer from it, but it did cause him to have vitiligo and it basically destroyed all the cartilage in his body. He has 2 pacemakers to boot, I'm not sure if the Agent Orange is what's destroyed his heart because he's never smoked. Thankfully the V.A in Kansas has been incredible with my beloved dad, they've made my parents home accessible for him, paid for his wheelchairs and adapted their van. Weekly exercise for life prevents any kind of cardiac disease. Heart disease can also be caused by obesity. The fat forms around a heart and it presses on the walls of the heart every time it beats. I saw a cadaver being opened up on a stainless steel tables. The surgeon removed the heart and she did a poor job keeping the weight off her body. It pressed on her heart and the heart walls were so thin that when the autopsy doctor put the heart in her hand and raced it to the level of the camera, the heart collapsed on itself. There was absolutely no form or support on the side walls to support the rest of the heart and it was like flat! That's hard disease!

I know about the bright pin point of light. Within hours of the phone call that my brother unexpectedly passed away. My grieving heart my constant sobbing and thoughts and crying out to him had enveloped me. I couldn’t stop the hurt the sadness the loss. At one point I said softly “ brother if you can hear or see my heart of love for you ..I ask that you plant a flower I have never grown in my tiny garden next spring to confirm you heard me tonight.I prayed and asked Gods blessing of this request. I was alone sitting in the dark at my dinning table just staring across the room my eyes welling up with tears . Across the room sat mature Prayer plants on the antique cabinet. I had my chin and face in my hands leaning on my elbows in a lost stare talking to my brother by thought when out of no where a tiny pin point of light burst small rays of light coming from its center from in between the large leaves of the Prayer plant. It was only a 2 second flash about the size of a b b pellet. I couldn’t believe what I just saw ! I thanked God and my brother over and over for letting me know he was there with me. Unbelievable presence . I was filled with joy tearing and thanking my brother .Then I realized the remarkable way he went about confirming he heard me , he showed me me his bursting light in my Prayer Plant , he didn’t wait until spring . Lee I am overwhelmed. Truly beautiful. I'm now married and very happy. My beautiful wife is doing great. I have no doubt that we have been Truly blessed and watched over. While on our honeymoon, we were on our way from one little town in Utah to another to a place that we wanted to go fishing. I was on my side of the road and looked up and seen another pickup that had crossed the line and I did not have time to react he took off my driver side mirror and kept going with hardly even damaging my truck other than the mirror. If he had been three to six inches inward it had been a direct hit and we would have been either terribly injured or killed on our honeymoon. I have no doubt that our heavenly father watched over us and kept us safe I love my wife and looking forward to spending the rest of my days with her and growing closer to the Lord.

@@HeavenAwaits Personally, I believe that anybody that volunteers for military duty, serves 4 years or more and is discharged with an honorable discharge should be handed a "credit card" for medical services that may be used anywhere in the US or America's territories or any military installation in the world. This all volunteer force we have is manned by people that have given our country at least 4 years of the best years of their lives in the service of their fellow countrymen and having given Uncle Sam "a blank check payable in the amount up to and including their life". We owe them much more than we can ever repay.

Wars do, especially for the companies that profit from it, and it was why I feel bad for those who have served in recent years the wars are for money more than any other motivation and those soldiers gave their lives in some cases, so someone else can make money.

My dad was also in Vietnam. He got Colon cancer 27 years ago and died during surgery to remove half of his colon. He went to a dark space he feels was a holding area with his angel Joe behind him. As a child my dad saw Joe but everyone else referred to Joe as his imaginary friend since no one else saw him. Joe told him a decision was being made to let him go back or not. He told him to get off of the poison (chemo). He did and has been cancer free since.

Beautifully told. Lots of surgery , hope it was not all painful. I do love it when the medical profession gets introduced to the eye openers of life beyond death and the door opens up a bit from atheist perspective to self doubt of that conviction. I enjoyed going to school for Biological Sciences and several professors were convinced that their view was the only truth in play, but I have always been convinced of God, and spirit, and have had a few personal experiences of God or someone of divine love healing the emotional state of my heart. We are not alone, we never were, and surely love is the reason why.

Wow...this guy has really been through the ringer! Jesus/God is awesome, and how lucky/Blessed he is to be saved/healed so many times. On one hand it makes me a little upset that My son wasn't given that opportunity. But on the other hand it makes me realize that we ALL have a purpose & job to do here on earth, and they are all different or specific to each one of us. You will still have a choice when you die to come back, if you haven't finished your job on Earth. I don't want to know when I'm going to die. A lot of people die every year, they're just not paying attention what they are doing or what is going on at the time. They died too soon, but they have a choice and some will not return because they don't want to. We must respect their choice if they decide to stay. Dying is great, if we all didn't have that great desire to live and finish our work here. We would all die before our job is finished in mortality.

I’m confused. The Bible is clear about the belief in or use of psychic. I think the psychic friend is a SEER in the Spiritual Realm...this is definitely biblical and the veil between heaven and earth is thinner now, so it is easier to see into the supernatural metaphysical world and to have more encounters than usual will occur.
