I read somewhere that Michael Richards was originally considered for the role of Monk. He actually had his own show called the Michael Richards show following Seinfeld where he played a private detective, but it only lasted several episodes and was basically just Kramer as a detective. It was decided he was too goofy for the role of Monk and not serious enough, and they went with Tony Shaloub instead.

Why the duck is there a shack under the pier that would get drowned every day?
@ccggenius
@ccggenius 4 жыл бұрын
Well, the sign said it was a bait shack. I'd assume that the eminently floodable building has something along the lines of built in live bait traps, and the place being under water a good chunk of the time is a feature, not a bug. Either that, or it didn't start there. Beach erosion is a thing, and I could definitely see a wooden shack washing out to down there after a hurricane or what have you.
