I love how mature you both are in the relationship and really willing to be open about all the struggles. It is great to know I'm not alone in struggling through my relationship problems and that it does take a lot of work from both sides. Thanks for the vulnerability Maggy and Jo!

They remind me of me and my recent relationship. Really chaotic. He seems not happy though, and she seems like she’s just trying to go through it and see if they can persevere.

There’s not the One for you. You only choose someone to be the One whom you will commit to for the rest of your lives. Commitment and consistency is key in relationships because love is not just a feeling.

Best podcast ever for HOH! This goes from funny and chill to very serious and deeeeppp. So many examples and stories to takeaway, love both of you! Thanks for sharing all these publicly. Also, Joseph is so cute for not liking physical touch but noticed that he has small gestures of touching Maggy’s hand/thigh 😆

Being vulnerable in acknowledging one's own mistake is a great step towards being a better person for yourself, and for your partner. Learnt this as well in the past few years. Thanks for inviting us into your relationship! 加油 💪❤️

we all can see Joseph is bloody struggling to voice out his opinions not 2-3 secs in esp. in 42:20 mental health part, she already shutting him down and shoving down her opinions into his throat trying to kindaish justify her actions. no wonder their relationship dont work, it was a sinking burning ship till the bitter end, hope she dont end up in a miserable place, imo Joseph is pretty much a good lad, father, parent and thats all you want for your children, ladies. certainly did not age well, but this podcast is immeasurable in value, it is without a doubt a great move for not deleting.

Great sharing! Relationships often require the experience/journey through conflict and resolution before it moves into a deeper and more fulfilling level. It definitely takes effort and communication from both parties to invest in any relationship. Giving up is always easier than persevering. It's only through good and hard times that we start appreciating each other more. 加油!

Yeah, it really is conscious, intentional and consistent hardwork for a relationship to work. But when emotions comes to play, things can get complicated at times. Thanks for tuning in! 🧡🧡

@@MaggyWang My wife and I have been together for >20 yrs and our personalities mirror you/Joseph's (we're in our mid 40's). Our key has always been to stay invested on both sides to try and resolve conflicts via active communication. We also focus on acknowledging our own tendencies and how it may have affected perception from our partner and resolve to keep working on avoiding the same pitfalls/triggers that may spark the next conflict. It's great to be able to share perspectives so others can benefit. Even if only 1 person learnt something, it'll be worth it. I take the same approach with our daughters(11 and 7). We don't mask our conflicts from them because we also make sure that they understand why and that we will always continue working on resolving it. We hope to instill in them the same mindset about how they deal with their relationship with others. Disney/media has created false images of how perfect relationships should be which makes everyone's relationship look/feel like a failure so we need to reinforce that all relationships take HARD WORK, HONESTY, and PERSEVERANCE from all parties involved.

This is a great insight and sharing. I enjoyed the episode. My partner is going thru depression and snaps at me multiple times for the littlest things. It affects me a lot and I couldn't reason with him. It help me find a little comfort knowing that I can relate to Maggy and understanding a little thru what Joseph is going through. Every relationship is a work in progress. I hope I can see through it with my partner.
