Some collectors get doubles or triples of everything if they can. He had two of the meta quests so I think it’s probably safe to guess that he’s one of those people who do that. He might still has doubles of every game in that pile. If that is the case, then this is just what he’s willing to write off to make room for new stuff or he has to make money back on it now. If not then sometimes people do have to get rid of their stuff to make money and pay for things. That’s life that happens.

@@Mfishtheman I’ve sold off portions of my collection, in the process of doing it right now, but this guy had N64 up to recently released games and systems. When I sold off a lot of my collection a couple years ago, I sold NES to Wii. I kept systems that were still relatively new because I was still playing those systems and games. Now I’m selling off WiiU and newer but keeping PS5/Switch. I just found it interesting that this guy had not only N64/GameCube but also a massive Switch collection and other newly released items. Don’t look too deep into my comment, it was made in jest.

This reminds me of when my brother met up with someone on eBay who was selling his entire superhero collection, all in great condition. Including rare comics, paintings from the original artists and priceless statues, for incredibly low prices. My brother asked why he was doing it and he said he barely got married and his wife didn't want them around the house anymore.

So dumb. 22hrs ride makes like $500 fuel in the end And then he freely lowballs his collection. I would have at the very least Sold the consoles and realy rare games on eBay- the shipping proccess is less than the 22hrs ride. Then sell the less ecpensive ones in bulks or sth.. No hate on the decision, just not ecconomically wise.. he probably needed the money fast or had to move and had no space for the stuff otherwise
