People tend to forget that even if your job is saving people, you still want to live like a person. It's not about the responsability, it's about coming out after saving someone to comfort instead of a dead end place where you csn be stabbed at anytime and you struggle to get food. What is the point of being a hero if you starve and die becuase people think all you need is a 'thank you' and that you're doing it only based on good will? You can't pay groceries with good will, neither a house, a ceiling, not even water, it's a death sentence to be only a hero all the time.

The more important part here imo is how Ray reacts to it He became a superhero from young age himself, and most likely barely had any proper childhood aside from hero duties, hell he might have skipped school and stuff like that Not to mention that he is often shown to be in his cave a bit too often, raises questions on how often does he even leave it aside from duties So for a person that spent nearly their whole life for that, seeing his sidekick say and do all that was too much of a shocker for him

I feel like Henry should’ve taken into consideration what kind of responsibilities he put on himself when he became Kid Danger. I know he was just a kid at the time, and he grew up, but still, those responsibilities did not change. (it didn’t help that Ray seem to have been getting dumber every season, forcing Henry and the others to try and take care of the guy like he was a freaking manchild) No one can just throw away responsibilities like that. They’ll always be a part of them soon after they accept them. I get what he’s saying. It’s never easy, and superheroes or partners to superheroes should understand that. It’s the definitely the most difficult thing when you try to balance both your normal life and hero life. And nobody would be specifically asked to be a successor to another. If history is any indication, they wind up being their own thing, and this is exactly what happened to Henry.
@jackmcmorrow93972 ай бұрын
Just a tragic scene all around. Ray was angry because Henry, whether he admitted it or not, was his whole world. Ray had nothing outside of being captain man: no social life, no normal friends, nothing. Henry isn't just his sidekick, he's also his very best friend. And Henry was angry because Ray was trying to keep him locked in that same lonely, antisocial, all consuming cage of responsibility.
