I'm glad you're not a bigot, there are really entirely too many out there rn. I hope you're doing better ❤ (Also, it's best to put a space in between trans and girl, just because without the space it sort of implies that a trans girl is something separate from a girl. As in, you wouldn't combine tall and girl into tallgirl. 'Trans' just specifies something about the girl.)

@@Mr.MossyTeacup: I've seen a lot of different opinions over whether or not to use a space, or alternatively a hyphen. If someone out there is really making up these stories just because they get a kick out of people being ‘gullible’, that’s on them not me.’ Because that’s a ridiculous way to behave. I respond to their comments as if they are made in good faith. Not to change _their_ mind, but to inform the people reading who never comment, who are ignorant but afraid to ask themselves. You have a 380% greater chance of being unalived if you are NOT trans.

@fartcannon-wg5ol no they are absolutely not lmaoo I watch plenty of trans creators and no one is saying anything as extreme and silly or being as obnoxious as he is, and if there are it's a very small extreme minority. So no, don't give me that bs. For the it's ma'am situation, i understand that it's not okay to have a break down that way but at the same time you have to understand that she had originally politely asked to be called ma'am multiple times and the employee straight up refused and ignored that, not like he was making a genuine mistake either. I don't condone what the trans woman did in the video though. And the whole Dylan thing I'll need you to explain. I just was under the impression she was documenting each day she experienced as a trans woman and what it's like. She's a content creator of course she'll be more comical and loud but I don't understand how you see similarities between Dylan and this dude in the video. There's such a huge difference between the two in how they act and behave and what they say it's clear Dylan is genuine. Then again I don't watch Dylan or any of her videos ive only seen clips and reviews on her content so I could be wrong about her. 🤷🏻♀️ Regardless, those are a few extremes out of the many trans people that are normal people.

In a nutshell I've never known a trans woman who would be comfortable wandering around with the body, face and hair of a cis man for five months with zero effort to change that. Obviously how far a woman will go and end results vary, but he was just putting on women's clothes and poor make-up. Most cis guys doing drag for Halloween do a better job. crazy how different he sounds in that breakup post than how he talks about her and trans ppl in general now
@Leena798 күн бұрын
I still don't think I know this guy, but he gives off the vibes of a man who is very confused, and probably not 100% cis/straight. It's really a shame that instead of trying to find his path to self-acceptance, he has gone on offence and targeted trans people. Regardless of where he fits on the sexuality and gender spectrums, just because he is confused, doesn't mean everyone else is.

Dating a queer person does not necessarily make you queer. But, it can definitely mean you are not heteronormative. Anyone in relationships outside of heteronormativity can be welcomed into the queer community, and some may feel that they are, in this way, queer. Thats totally okay. Dating a trans person of the opposite gender doesn't make you no longer straight. But if you feel long term it makes you part of the queer community, and you are welcomed into that persons life as such, then power to you. Dating a person of the opposite gender also doesnt make you no longer bi, or pan, or whatever your sexuality may be. Your identity still exists. Hopefully that helps clear things up for people who may be confused.

8:55 This should be obvious but sadly to some of society is not. Men dating trans women are in a straight relationship! There is no need for this relationship to trigger "gay panic", they're dating a woman! Might be worth reflecting on that panic, but not because of the relationship. Sadly I think if someone is in that secretive mindset, they're not ready to date trans people.

As long as you still see them as men! They just might not be your type of man. The same goes for straight men and trans women. You are still straight regardless if you’d date them or not. I know it’s maybe not the best place to ask but I will anyways - Hey. I’m 13, and a mess. Can anyone help??? I feel like a guy and not at the same time. I like to present masc, and yeah. I know expression doesn’t determine gender. I also feel like I prefer he/him pronouns and just masculine terms in general. I don’t feel like, uncomfortable being a girl either? I just prefer being referred to as a guy. - The strange thing is, I only started feeling this way a few months ago. At least, consciously. I feel like it could be a phase, because don’t most people feel this way from a really young age??? I’m clueless, honestly. I’ve researched so many different labels and terms and it’s like… Some criteria from one fit me and then another from another, so on. Nothing really fits me, but it also does? I just gave up on research and trying to figure it out because it’s all so confusing. Nothing makes sense. Because it all makes sense to some degree but then also not. I’ve started introducing myself as a guy to my online friends, and honestly I prefer it that way. Is that a bad thing? Also, am I too young to try and figure this out? I tried to come out to my parents as gender fluid and they said “your young and have a lot to figure out “ They are allies to the community so their reaction confuses me. It’s not like , an overwhelming feeling either, but it’s definitely there. The only person who knows about this whole mess is my best friend, and she’s been trying to help as much as she can with research and using my pronouns, but there’s only so much she can do as she doesn’t feel the same. I just wanted help from people who might have experienced something similar. Any help is appreciated, or really just your own experiences, I need anything I can get. Sorry for ranting, and I hope everyone has a good day/ night!

Hi! I’m a trans man, I realized I was a man when I was fifteen, started HRT when I was eighteen, and I’m now nearly thirty. Coming out and transitioning saved my life. I didn’t feel like a guy from a young age. I was just “me,” and never thought about it. When I went through puberty- and it sounds ridiculous- I realized “wait a minute.. I’m… a woman? With breasts? And a period?” But that felt so alien to me. I loved girls and boys stuff, so it wasn’t like I was a tomboy. I just realized one day “I’m a man.” The way I walked, talked, my mind- it’s male, and it’s hard to articulate. You have time to figure it out. I came out to my girlfriend first and then my parents asked about why she was calling me “he/him.” Then I had to tell them he truth. I began just wearing different clothes and using a new name/pronouns. At your age I think it’s fine to try that out and talk to your parents. You don’t need to rush into any kind of permeant change right now. Just take the time to sort out your feelings, get support and explore. I was part of LGBT group therapy and I had a therapist who specialized trans/sex/family issues. I think talking to your parents when you feel ready and seeking a professional could be useful.
@lawrencescales98648 күн бұрын
Also helping steer your parents towards good resources could help. There’s a lot of misinformation online and on social media. I showed my mom a picture of Jamie when I realized she’d never seen a trans man before. She was shocked that he looked normal and happy. I think your parents seeing or knowing other trans people can also help a lot. It can be scary, but with parents who accept- or learn to accept and support who you are- it can be a really enlightening experience. Good luck and stay safe young man!!

When I first heard about this situation from your first video, it definitely seemed to me that he has some kind of crossdressing kink or that he's genuinely questioning his gender identity, but doesn't feel he can be honest about it. Either way, it's not a hoax. No one would put that much effort into this for so long unless they were getting some enjoyment out of it.

the counter culture movement in the 80's and 90's was very big on bending gender norms and a lot of super awesome musicians would gender bend as far as clothing. they would often wear dresses and in no way were they trans. You can wear what ever you want and use the pronouns that works for you. So plenty of he/him identified men wore dresses in that time period.

I know you say hating all trans people after a breakup is bizarre, but I kinda disagree in the sense of men quite often break up with women and then hate all women and quite often go on tirades to hurt women. A lot of men do this. Like. Too many. So I agree. Logically and morally it doesn’t make sense. But him bejng a man taking his frustrations about being rejected out on transwomen… totally makes sense for him.
