“He Feels VERY Hard Done By” Phillip Schofield Claims ‘Utter Betrayal’ Means No More Presenting Work

Former This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has blamed his brother for his departure from ITV, saying he was “fired for someone else’s crime”.
In the final episode of Channel 5’s Phillip Schofield: Cast Away, the 62-year-old revealed he would “never in a million years” decide to return to daytime TV.
Schofield went on to say he had always been “open and honest with everyone at work about what was happening” with his brother Timothy.
His 54-year-old brother was convicted in April 2023 of 11 sexual offences involving a child between October 2016 and October 2019, including two of sexual activity with a child.

You think of a kid you have known from 14 they turn 18 do you suddenly fall in love and want to bed them? I watched the Schofield thing last night, and I got the DEFINITE VIBE that Schofield was **ACTING** the entire time through the show (even though he was alone). The whole show came across as fake and contrived. At the beginning they take away his mobile phone, & we (the audience) are left to believe he is ALONE on that Island for 10 days without ANY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION! I DO NOT believe that! I think for insurance & safety reasons he would have had an emergency radio, walkie-talkie or Mobile Phone on the island should he get ill by drinking contaminated water etc. Or injury. I simply DO NOT believe they left him without a "device" to contact the outside world. At one stage he "miraculously" finds a fresh-water pool so he can drink fresh, clean water. I DID NOT believe THAT either! I think he was SHOWN IN ADVANCE where that "Handy" Spring of Water was because the entire "production" had a "fake" feeling to it... He "found" the Spring of Water WAY TO QUICKLY! But his ACTING is just terrible! its a CRINGEFEST! He babbles on to himself the entire time. The thing that REALLY ANNOYED ME was when he arrived at the Island and said "This is *MY* ISLAND!!".. Schof its NOT *YOUR* ISLAND! FFS how narcissistic for him to CLAIM its "HIS" ISLAND! Like HE OWNS it!!! That little line of him saying "This is MY island" just showed his SHEER ENTITLEMENT, but the editors left that line in, Ooops!
