Love your content and messages. I get that the buck was a great lead in to your message. On the other hand, God has a plan and gave you that buck. Plenty of folks would love to shoot that buck, but are unable to for many reasons whether physical limitations or whatever. I'm grateful and thankful for what I harvest and I know you men are as well. I just would've liked to see a bit of gratitude for the animal you were fortunate to take. When I first started hunting 55years ago my grandfather said never be ashamed of any animal you take. You enjoyed being in the field and now have food for your family and memories for when you can't do it anymore. I'm 69 and still live by those words toady.

Yep. Did that with a bear a couple of yrs ago. It was a nice bear and I got it with my handgun but right after I saw a monster and all I could do was watch it. But I also was blessed with a nice bear and some good meat for my family.

If you hadn’t shot the deer you did would you have even seen the big one? Time and space intersecting at that moment may have been different without the first shot. I’ve had similar experiences and maybe it was just god keeping you in the fight until next season!

You talk about your Christian values and how the lord has provided for you. Why spend your time looking for the strongest animal in the herd? You're looking for food and not notoriety correct? You try to represent your values in your videos but it's completely hypocritical. Let the strongest in the herd procreate and build a better base of animals (deer, elk, moose, etc...). Also, why would you shoot a wolf? Is it for fun or because you are trying to keep the carnivores from attacking the stock. If it's the latter then why not cull the weakest from the stock and use that (what the lord has provided) for sustenance.
