It's an all too familiar story. The ending is atypical, though. Usually, the long-suffering wife would return to care for the invalided husband while the one who enjoyed his strength, attention, and provision would look the other way 😏 Women like Obiageli know how to present the right mix of helplessness (men find that trait irresistible in a woman) fake stoicism to trap fools like Jidenna. Women like Dinma, who come across as the Proverbs 31 woman, are seen as being 'strong' women who do not need their husband's care and attention, so the man sees nothing wrong with effectively abandoning her and feels no remorse for doing so. Nice story, and well delivered, Bard.

Obiageli was a silent user, used him and had the nerve to thank Dinma for tolerating her all these years. My darling Enkay, I don't feel sorry for Jidenna as he truly got what he deserves. I stand with the wife and children for taking that decision to move on with their lives. Years ago, I found myself in a similar situation, and I did the same by moving on with my daughter, and I thank God Almighty every day for that decision, and we have no regrets. 😂. Obiageli knew what she was doing and used Jidenna, who was too blind to see what she was up to. In his next life, he will do things better by appreciating his wife and children . This is a very beautiful story thank you pt 2.it is so sad thats how people could be used untill they can use you no more why did Jidenna had to die like a dog when he helped a widow,why did obiagelis son remember that people are talking after he was comfortable in life why didnt he talk about what people were talking before all that Jidenna spent on them more over he supported 4kids including obiageli ....it is just sad that Jidenna didn't help from a distance which resulted to his wife and kids feeling abandoned like they were the ones that were being helped😢
