He Gives Me Joy

Just as the others commented, I had been searching for this song for years but was unable to find it. It has a special place in my heart and brings to mind the simple sweetness of Jesus' joy and peace. I first heard it on Moody Radio, WCRF in Cleveland, OH. Thank you for posting it.

This song gives me the joy of the Lord. I first heard this about 35 years ago when I just got saved. I had no idea what I was feeling for the first time in my life. So many times I laughed when I was sad or smiled when I was angry inside. When I got saved I felt true joy for the first time in my life. This song told me what I was feeling- because I did not recognize JOY. I was flooded with joy! Flooded with peace! I still am! Thank you Jesus!

Thank you for posting this. I looked high and low and I could not find this song. I used to hear it when I was younger (early teen) on Family Radio. The Lord brought it to my mind one morning but I couldn't find it. I even wrote Family Radio, the rep. said all the CDs are in storage. So I said Jesus please let me find He gives me Joy song. So this morning listening to Family Radio I heard a group that may have sang He gives me joy and sure enough you posted it. Thank you!😊
