Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf KZbin channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

My first time in this channel and I'm liking it. I remember my early days of golfing, my friend and I would go to yard sales and thrift stores to hunt for decent golf clubs. My friend found a 2-ball putter Odyssey. I don't know how much he paid. It was probably $10. He gave it to me. I've been using it since then. Also, there are many good finds I kept. I love golf clubs hunting.

Probably the best quality the two of you have that truly impresses me most is your honesty with people selling at garage sales and flea markets is if their price is to low and they don’t realize the true value of what they are selling you will let them know and pay them a fair price for their clubs!!

When I first took up golf (in the late-70’s) I attended a clinic by Patty Berg. I was blown away! This little old lady was (and still is) the best ball striker I ever saw. She was amazing!

Living in Florida I never thought to go to any community garage type sales. Thinking about it I bet most have clubs for sale and elderly people where you can find old vintage clubs, and also good prices. Next sale in my golf course compound I’m gonna check it out on the golf cart and drive around. Thx for idea and videos. I find them interesting and you seem like a great couple. My first set was Patty Berg. I played them for all 4 years in high school. Guys used to give me a hard time that I was playing with ladies clubs. Good memories with those clubs. Glad to see them again.

Those Patty Bergs, along with other Wilson models were ahead of their time. A "rocker" sole from toe to heel and from leading edge to trailing edge made these forged blades much easier to hit compared to other companies. Walter Hagen Haig Ultras were close but Wilson's sole was more pronounced. I played Wilson X31's for years. I think Ashley will enjoy them.

When I started playing golf I had a used set of Patty Berg irons. I also meet Ms Berg at the US Women’s Open at Pine Needles in Southern Pines, NC. People had no idea who she was. Patty was walking the course too

We had this old teaching Pro at my local track...his fav quote was " you need to know "WHY" you practice "...hitting balls is fun and healthy...but if you don't know why you hit an 8 iron 130...why practice that... Sorry Simone, that one was not made for the Expos. It was made in London, Ontario Canada where the head office of Labatt was before Labatt was purchased by Anheuser Busch. London had a triple A team sponsored by Labatt and they also were a large part owner of the Toronto Blue Jays. They had lots of specialty beer pulls like one with a Blue Jay’s ‘92 World Series replica ring in a clear globe but this is an older generic bat shape. La Bat .... Labatt That beer pull is worth about $40. Nice purchase!
