@@GMS-ChaabarYakalATLthis, and also powerlifting, to a high level, doesn’t necessarily equate to a lot of muscle, a lot of the time you’ll see pretty skinny people doing heavy deadlifts and squats. That extra caloric intake and weight gain often comes from a necessity from fully pro athletes at the super advanced to elite level who need to push that extra strength output. Most people can easily get super strong via powerlifting without gaining much weight. It’s why (as somebody training for Planche), I love to work with squats, deadlifts, cleans, etc. for my lower body days because I maintain athleticism and gain strength without much loss in my leverages.

He's got a posterior chain and leg dominance. It's important to have a balance between both chains to look like you lift. You can see he's got a really big serratus anterior and a chiseled back compared to his chest and abs, for example.

Usually, stability work like this is done in something like 3 sets of 10-20. And it doesn’t really matter exactly how many reps you do. What matters is that you enforce the proper motion and stay away from total failure. Teaching your body how to move correctly is mostly the point.

I really need one evaluation sometime soon 😅 I had severe scoliosis and it is so much better from lifting but I have many discomforts that come and go, so I tried the stability exercises you do alone, it was insufficient alone and doing the mobility ones was insufficient alone as well doing both at the same time sometimes removes some discomforts and sometimes dont I don't know from where it comes from so I cant do any specific exercise so I waste too much time warming up before training, more than my training session

I would really like to work with you. I've dislocated my left shoulder, I believe 52 times including this morning and yesterday. All I do is straighten my back and it pops in. I know I need to limit my risky reaches and stuff like that with that arm. I was in a bad car accident last year by myself,, I was the only casual_ty. They brought me back on a helicopter. Sucks a bit but it taught me to follow rules a bit more. My first dislocation was in water swimming backwards,, I don't know what could've set that up but it was about a year after I stopped working out every day for high school wrestling. Sorry for the read, you prolly busy, I'm talkative without caffeine,, I could def get rid of half of this. I can help you do a video on how to relocate a dislocation,, wouldn't mind dislocation for it;)

I've got 3 disc prolapses (google translated that word pls correct me) in this area. And pretty much my whole left side of the body is slightly weaker, it feels like the subtle pain which I have been ignoring/can deal with no problem in the last few years, made my muscles on the side cramp up/be less engaged. I tried warmth therapy and various stretching exercises, went to physical therapy but nothing really helps long term. Have you got any tips for someone in my position? Thx for the content.
