I really appreciate the reaction! My name is actually hard to pronounce, so I'm not bothered if you pronounced it wrong. And it was actually not that bad lol. Stray Kids debuted in 2018, so they're not completely fresh, I'd say lol. And they do have an anime opening and ending actually (for an anime called Tower of God.). The opening is caller TOP and the ending is SLUMP. I appreciate the honesty for sure (as I said before) and this MV isn't as great as you'd expect because it's actually for a b-side. If you want good MV's you can check out Megaverse which was released somewhat recently. Anyways, I apologize for the long paragraph of trying to talk about as many points as possible. Again, I appreciate the reaction and would definitely love to see more Stray Kids on your channel

Fun fact: Stray Kids are one of, if not the best, rapline in kpop. Usually in kpop, when a member isn't the best at singing/dancing, theyre just given the "rapper" position, which in most cases they aren't the best at. It isn't something some kpop idol rappers take seriously. In Stray Kids case, they're genuinely passionate about rapping which is why they stand out from other kpop idol rappers. 3racha (3 members of Stray Kids) Started out as underground soundcloud rappers before joining a kpop group.

I'm a 60 year old Stray Kids Fan!! I discovered them a year ago they really do have music for all genres and ages!! ChangBin the Rapper is my Bias but I love them all and my kids say I'm obsessed with them. Some of my fav songs are Lalalala, Charmer, Venom and Freeze. Please remember that these songs are their older songs and they did not have the budget they have now. Plus they do more music video for their songs than most groups and they are their b-side songs. Not a lot of groups do music videos for their b-side songs. These are considered to be performance MV's than actual MV's. That is why they don't have the wow factor of like Lalalala and S-Class.

i recommend s-class and lalalala!! stray kids actually have some of the best mvs in kpop (they're high budget and very well edited, and they rarely use greenscreens) the mv for easy isn't all that bcs it's a bside, usually they put more effort into their title track mvs :)

Yes, they do have anime ones. "Top" and "Slump" are opening and closing songs for Tower of God and Seungmin just did a single OST called "Phobia" for a webtoon called, Sister, I am the Queen in this Life. They also did a collab with Lisa, who apparently is a Japanese voice actress for many, many animes. The song they did the collaboration with is "Social Path."

Stray kids are quite unique to kpop in a way that one of them trained for 7 years and company let him pick the rest of the members. That does not happen. Usually members are picked entirely by the kpop company. He unofficially at first created a unit that was basically a hh trio (they write and produce all of skz music and from time to time for others too) and around this trio (named 3racha coz it sounds like sriracha sauce in Korean) he expanded the group. Easy is one of my fav songs but it's old ind its rather rare sound for them nowadays. They do have one of the most extravagant MVs in music industry. The last two title tracks (Lalalala and s-class) would be peak examples. With around 200 songs in their discography you probably will find sth to your taste. If you like anime vibes the anime OSTs mentioned (TOP & Slump) might be a thing for you along with most of their Japanese titles. They have a song they made with LiSA - Social path. The Sound or Circus are fun too but when it comes to MVs - jp ones have much much lower budgets than their Korean ones.

Easy is still one of my top favourite songs from Stray Kids, and the choreo too. The dance practice for Easy shows off just how talented these guys are and their synchronicity. They make it look easy hahahaha… I enjoyed your reaction and if you’re looking for more recommendations… well, Stray Kids have a rather large discography that ranges multiple genres, so there's a lot to pick from! (Long comment warning) A good place to start is at the beginning, with Hellevator and District 9. IMO these two songs show how they’ve been THAT GROUP right from the beginning and you see how much they've progressed until now. The song Hellevator is a pre-debut track and is the first song they ever wrote and performed together. This was when they were still trainees and were fighting to debut together. It’s also mostly self-choreographed as they had to show how well they could put together a song and performance by themselves. The song District 9 is their debut song from their first official album “I Am NOT”. It’s an amazing track that really shows off their colours and what kind of group they’re going to be. From there you could go in any direction. Stray Kids have a wide variety of songs and there's something for everyone. Each album has a “theme” so to say, but the songs can vary in sound greatly, going from a fast and boppy dance track to vocals and lyrics that will have you in your feels. They also have unit and solo songs that are usually released on the side. All the members have at least one solo song (Hyunjin and Han have the most, I think), and they range from fast raps to soaring vocals to sexy and cheeky lyrics… these boys have dipped their toes into pretty much every genre of music. The three main units are the Rachas: 3RACHA* = Bang Chan, Changbin, Han DanceRacha** = Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix VocalRacha*** = Seungmin, I.N (the other Units/Duos/Trios are a mismatch of members that can be any grouping depending on the vibe and style of song they are going for.) Thanks for the reaction to Easy! It's one of my favorite songs. Yes, Skz has come a long way with their mv's production wise. They used to do a lot of street versions back in the day. Stray kids are great, they’re not as young as they look, they debuted in 2018, the youngest member was born in 2001, and the oldest 1997. This is one of their older music videos and is to a b side track (as awesome as it is) you should definitely check out some of their newer tracks, I highly recommend maniac, circus, or thunderous for a someone just getting into their music. They do train before debuting, they will usually audition to train with a company during their teens, but some, like their leader bangchan have been training since 13 (moved from Australia to Korea on his own 🥹) and train for a while. They also produce all their own music ❤

Stray Kids is one of the only K-pop band, who produce, compose and write all of their songs on their own (mostly 3Racha) and they have songs in a variety of genres. Added to that is that Bang Chan (the leader) hand picked every single member, which could generally explain their good chemistry and performance ability 😊

They're not kids. The youngest is 23yrs old. How the training works is people will audition and those with the best raw talent will be chosen and then the company will teain them in everything. Vocals, dance, rap and some companies also train them on music production and song writing. They get training in every aspect of the entertainment industry, including acting.

Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids, they are not the traditional Kpop group has the members were chosen by Bang Chan the leader and not the company. They also produce and write their own music, which again is unusual in Kpop. I recommend reacting to Victory Song or Double Knot, if you want to hear how deep Felix's voice can go. His vocal range is pretty broad and his falsetto is will surprise you.

FYI: in South Korea when groups are asked what "company" they are with like JYP or YG its not just their label. In Sout Korea the entertainment company you are signed with acts and operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management company, concert production company, and music publishing house. Often talent is scouted at a very young age & brought in as TRAINEES where they are housed in dorms, fed & required to attend classes for dance , rap , singing or even music production for several years till they are placed in a group to debut as idols or artists. (Or cut & discarded if the company feels you don't have what it takes to debut.) Even after debut typically the company has full control of the idols lives including the artistic aspects of the group, what kind of music they put out, to what they wear, where they live & whether they are allowed to have personal relationships (bf/gf) or not. Thats why Stray Kids is so unique, they write & produce their own music, they have full creative control, & probably a bit more "freedom " than most other groups. They still live together in 2 "dorms" & follow strict guidelines regarding their public image (i.e. no personal relationships, no swearing on camera etc.) But i think being such a conservative country sometimes its just widely accepted that doing anything like that damages their marketability & its a powder keg for scandals which run rampid on Korean social media & kpop media in general. Often such scandals can ruin the future of groups. So such activities (drinking, dating, etc) i think are mutually avoided at all costs by companies & idols alike. At least until you are so big it doesnt matter what you do(i.e. no personal relationships, no swearing on camera etc.) But i (i.e. BTS , now have tattoos & swear in tracks & are starting to have public relationships cause they now have more money than god so its doesnt matter. Seungmin is really an incredible and just amazing person in every sense, he manages everything, no matter what he undertakes, he is good at everything. Amazing vocals also writes songs himself. Few people know that he was still in the dance club at school. His movements in choreography are always so natural and clear, as if without a drop of effort, he plays the guitar, plays baseball, football and bowling superbly at first glance you wouldn't think but he is very hardy. They are now the kings of transitioning and im glad you can possibly see their growth as you watch more current things from them. To comment on kpop doing anime intros and outros. A general overview of how the kpop idol system works because you asked whether they were trained from the womb, lol : Teenagers audition at companies because they love performing, or are street casted because they're good looking. Those who pass that casting process, the company trains in dance, vocals, acting... sometimes for a very long time, sometimes just for a few months. For example in Stray Kids there's one member who trained for almost 7 years (Bang Chan, their leader and main producer), but also one who trained for like two months (Lee Know,) because he was already a professional dancer prior to getting casted. When the company wants to debut a new group, they pick trainees they deem ready for the stage, and they start to train as a team to see how things go. In Stray Kids' case, Bang Chan picked who he wanted to debut with, but that's a pretty unique happening, it's normally the company that makes this kind of decision. There's also groups that are built through survival shows : a bunch of trainees are pitted against each other through a reality TV competition, and quite often there's public voting involved. Those shows can be internal to a company and have a moderate number of participants (like 15 to maybe 30, the final group generally having at least 5 members) or have participants from multiple companies with up to about one hundred participants (the 'Produce 101' format, that leads to larger groups with 9 to 12 members). Stray Kids had a survival show too, but the format was different from that, Chan had already chosen his members and the show was meant to confirm the lineup he chose, with possible eliminations if the company deemed some of them not ready (and there were a couple of members who got eliminated during the show, but were brought back in the end to debut everyone regardless; can seem kinda pointless but it made for good TV and it made potential fans much more invested, so a win for the company). Something I'd like to add, being a trainee at a company does not mean that you'll necessarily debut with them. Trainee contracts are short (1 to 3 years) and companies are pretty liberal in ending them when someone isn't meeting expectations / when they finalize a lineup for a group and everyone who hasn't made it is allowed to leave. After getting cut trainees can audition elsewhere, or just leave the industry altogether.

The Felix effect always makes me have a laugh. I'm so glad you like Stray kids ! They are a great band and i'd love to see you discover them. If you want more infos : Yes in fact some of them start really young (14-15) but in fact they have a really hard training. They have a monthly evaluation and if they failed more than once they are let go so you have to put so much effort just to stay in training. BangChan (the leader) did 7 years in training and between the training and the producing (he already produces at the time) he slept 5 hours in average per day, some times less. They have courses on singing, dance, rap, producing (for some) and on top of all that they have to go to school. More on Stray kids : they are a self produced group (Which is rare in K-pop ) Changbin (the one rapping really fast), Han (the one starting the song) and BangChan (the one doing one of the chorus) are known under the 3racha name. They produce and make lyrics for almost 99% of all the song of the group. BangChan (the leader) have more than180 credited song (180 in november so way more now i think), Changbin and Han have almost the same count. But as of today, all members are starting to make their own song. If you want to discover them they have a song called "FAM" where they describe eachother. They are 8 members and unique fact about them : they don't have roles because they are multi talented. (In k-pop, a group is divided in roles : vocals the ones singing, rappers the one rapping and visual, the ones better looking. It implies that if they are one they aren't good at the other twos) They was also recruted by BangChan (unique way of creating a group. In K-pop it's the agency who decide which member will form a group based on the concept of the group.) If you like their songs, they have a big big catalog and they use a lot of music styles. They also have a lot of content on youtube like behind the stage / MV or lives and a lot of covers; ect. If the dance part interested you, they have dance practices there too ! You could check the one for "Domino". You can try : Megaverse, Christmas EveL, COMFLEX, Case 143, Thunderous, Cheese, Venom, Freeze, S-class, the sound, God's Menu. If you prefer more melodic and less "noisy" songs try : Cover me, Chill, Collision, Can't stop, Limbo, Stars and raindrops, Leave, FNF, Streetlight, Youtiful and more And if rap are what you're into try : Heyday (3racha), 3RACHA, Item, Topline, We go, and so much more ! They do make anime openings but some of the comments already told you so I'll not put them here. I hope you journey discovering stray kids will be fun !

this is EASILY in one of my top 5 songs. the music video wasn't meant to be very flashy because it's a b-side off of their album IN:LIFE. i think you'd enjoy the performances a lot more given you have some experience in both music & dance. some of my favorite choreos are this one, god's menu, domino, and venom. if you want some more interesting concepts, S-CLASS, LALALALA, and THUNDEROUS are all great watches! edit: i'd also like to add how much i appreciate your honesty. a lot of times, we see reactors doing way too much in their videos to the point where the reactions don't feel genuine. it's very rare that we see people who can be honest about their reactions without being rude to the artist/fans. i loved this reaction and i'm def subbing for more skz content!

Kim Seungmin is not just a vocalist, as many believe, but the only "main vocalist" of the group. The members of this group were all trainees at JYPE and some trained at other places before JYPE.Some only trained for a couple years while other like Bang Chan the leader was a trainee for 7 years and he formed the grouped and chose the members himself which doesn’t usually happen, at least in JYPE. If you want better music videos, check out S Class, God’s Menu, Thunderous, Case 143, Maniac, Lalalala, Megaverse I think you should try God’s Menu first. As for this music video, I don’t think we need something complicated for visuals every time.They wanted us to focus on the vocals, rap, and the dancing

I was never in to K-pop for the same reasons that most people would say they weren’t in to it. But then I ran across reaction videos to Felix and had to check him out and then moved on to watching all sorts of content. I really enjoy catchy songs but they can’t have repetitive lyrics. And then seeing how heavily involved they are in the creative process drew me in even more. It is very obvious in the music they release. The boys are all interesting characters but who clear love working with each other. 3Racha is definitely my favorite 4th gen rap line. As I was watching their videos, I had BTS videos pop up in my feed and after seeing the things BangChan was saying about them, I knew I had to check them out. So I’ve got a favorite 3rd gen group and a favorite 4th gen group. I haven’t found too many other groups that have piqued my interest quite as much as these two, although I am enjoying Ateez too.

I loved your reaction and how genuine you are, they are definitely great and versitile they have such talented members 😊 my favorite song by them is Social Path ft lisa who sings the ost for Demon Slayer. I'd like to recommend the group seventeen , i think you'd like their songs Monster , Fire & Super 🔥 Seventeen are known to be the most synchronized kpop group , they have 13 members and are all so versitile and amazing performers. The songs Monster and Fire are both by the hip hop unit consisting of members Scoups ( leader ) Wonwoo , Mingyu & Vernon . Seventeen has 3 main units withing the group, Hiphop , Percormance and vocal units. But all 13 members are multitalented. Their song Super is based off the Monkey king Sonogong also known as Son Goku , and their choreography has a lot of Dragon Ball references i really think you'd enjoy it 😊

Anime has its own style but skz or rather, a subset of skz, does have does have anime music. (As Anime is predominantly japanese, they tend to prefer japanese language tracks.) Skz also has japanese language albums and singles. As well as a few English versions of some of their songs. Kpop is not the only genre of music in Korea. They have a rap scene, traditional music, rock etc. One of the members even has a couple of songs (ost) for kdramas. 😊

As a lot of animes are Japanese, Kpop groups don't tend to make music for them; however, it's not all that uncommon either. Kpop groups -Stray Kids especially- still make music for anime and also Kdramas and that sort of stuff. Since Kpop has become more common, it's not unusual for young Koreans to audition for companies. Once BTS strongly popularized it internationally and in Korea that is. Before then it wasn't seen as a logical career because it had no money in it. But now it's a pretty common dream
