@irvingsarfo85763 күн бұрын
Nice interview, the man is sharing a lot, however I would humbly encourage him to read the bible entirely to have a general perspective of what it teaches. Some of the things he said about Christianity is his life experience and the wisdom he has acquired in this world. The wisdom of God is far above the wisdom of this world.
@everymanisyourteacher99513 күн бұрын
And do you think the wisdom of God is only found in the bible?
@irvingsarfo85762 күн бұрын
Yes. Read Job 28 Daniel 1:17-19 1 Corinthians 2:1-18 I can go on and on and on. For him to say there's a part of the bible he reads but for other parts they don't apply to him so he doesn't need them is a red flag that proves He doesn't believe the whole bible but a part and I'm surprised. That's where Im emphasizing, I like the interview and the many things he shared, I must also say that apart from the wisdom God gives doesn't exonerate the believer from using his common sense. The advantage christian have is that we have access to both physical and spiritual wisdom
@everymanisyourteacher99512 күн бұрын
@@irvingsarfo8576 so you want to tell me that those who don’t read the bible or none Christians can’t see nor find the wisdom of God anywhere else?

The bible quotation- Mat 6 from 25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life..." This should be put in context. The underlying issue Jesus was dealing with was WORRY. Worry creates fear, anxiety, stress and a whole lot. So the essence is for us not to worry. It doesn't mean we should be lazy and not work or plan. Do all that but remove Worry from it

If you have Jesus, you have everything doesn't mean by merely believing in Jesus gives you everything. To have Jesus means to walk his ways, to use his principles to guide your ways and that is how you get everything and not merely saying you believe in Jesus and going to church. Jesus worked so hard, he was done with his mission by age 33. So you can't say you have Jesus and be lazy. Jesus used his gifts to serve and that his how most of his needs were met and so you cant sit and fold your arms and expect to make it.
