So confident of Dawoud to share his "imperfections" 👍 Were you able to do crown work while fasting? Or will make up later? I have an appointment to turn my temp crown to permanent and wondering if I should fast. I don’t think I even need the needle for that one. But confused, don't want to fast and then have to break it. My dentist is non muslim so idk how seriously he will take of not rinsing my mouth so much that water goes inside Any experienced person's advise would be very appreciated

Hi! Dentist here, anesthesia doesn't break your fast, so don't worry on the front. I'd advise you to eat a good suhour to avoid any issues that might arise (that's assuming you have no chronic diseases). From my experience of working in Ramadan, unless it's a procedure that involves blood, the patients usually don't break their fast and Allah knows best

Dawoud should never have gotten crowns. He should’ve gotten Invisalign and a whitening. His teeth were not bad. Maybe a veneer if needed but crowns was a huge mistake 😢

I think you’re confusing crowns for veneers. Crowns require the tooth to be prepped all around (360 degrees) and are full coverage restorations whereas veneers require minimal preparation on the front only and sometimes no preparation at all (lumineers, can be bulky) . But yes, for someone who had decent teeth like dawoud, invisalign and home bleaching trays would have been more than enough .

As Dagwood is a gym guy I was going to advise to try do Keto in Ramadan. Believe me the mind fog hunger and lethargy all disappears. And based on that meal. Cut out the potatoes and everything else is basically Keto! Try it out you will thank me

Carla K salon in Dubai used to be good. Carla is Lebanese, not sure if she's still there. It's funny about jalabiyas my Lebanese extended family members all wore them. They used to shop in Syria and all the women wore them at home (Beirut/Bekaa)
