The thing is, they're not really tanking everything. Zoe and Ahri just eat the enemy frontline so quickly that it seems like your frontline is competitive.

4:30 infinite mana on zoe makes some sense bcs each cast removes flat MR so if she can machine gun somebody to 0 MR she is going to do a lot of dmg anyway so it makes up for lack of a full dmg item in theory

The rules change on mana (it buffers rather than being wasted) make chain-casting builds mathematically way more efficient than in previous sets, I believe

@@skrt947 It's a comp that makes a lot of sense. I also started the game with tear and nashors tooth and 4 zoes and an ahri. I was like frick lets go 1 cost reroll and zoe and ahri will get infinity AP when i add hecarim to my bastion frontline later. Stage 3-1 I rolled down after neutrals with 50 gold HIT NOTHING (had 4 poppy 2 lilia 2 ahri 5 zoe) and went dead last cause i lost hard despite getting blue buff nashors zoe as my frontline was garbage without any 3 stars until stage 4...

I just climbed from gold to plat with this only,and i can say for sure that it's a good early -mid game comp ,ahri one shots everything, after 4-2 ,4-5 you are steadily going down in hp since you win 2-7games on average, still good for 3-4place if played correctly (ps.The spellblades did the job on the sample vid ,not the comp itself)

Just played with the Lillia augment itemized her with ap tank items + Zoe Ahri carry and went 2nd. Super flexible comp cause you can run millio or xerath for scholar/ arcana late game if you have the gold and hp to level.

No, but its contested, meaning you wont find the right units in time, making you lose a lot of HP and could cost you the game

It had some play on PBE, with the buffs on live patch launch, this comp became a lot stronger, but it does struggle against late game capped boards (AP) even after they took nerfs.

just finished the game playing the same composition, with better tank items, everyone was lvl 3 including Poppy, Lillia, Ahri and Zoe, lvl 8 and lost all the fights. 5 bastion, 3 arcana, hecarim 2 since lvl 3. I entered stage 2-4 with all champs in lvl 2 and 2 items. My latest comp on lvl 8 on stage 5-3 was Poppy, Lillia, Ahri, Zoe, Nunu, Hecarim, Taric, Ryze and somehow couldnt win 1 fight. A dude in the same game hit morde 3, syndra 3 and galio 3 without any rolling, money or emblem augments with more than 50 gold remaining and lvl 8.

PLayed 10 games forcing it. With spellblade went 1st ( it was hilarious seeing a cass syndra re roller lose to it XD ) without spell blade it usually goes 6th-2nd depending on high roll, items, matchmaking etc. Rarely contested tho which is nice.

yeah fiora and varus both have ridiculously long cast time (idk why they make varus spend a whole second to cast a spell with mediocre dmg though? at least fiora has 70% durability while casting), meanwhile kalista is irrelevant without guinsoo crown combo. ad comps are so cooked rn

Welp, I tried the comp 4 times, went 8th 4 times. Zoe just gets stuck on a Dragon Claw and the entire team gets rolled before she's done with it. Funnily its crapping on Kassadin, but literally nothing else, but it looks like in this game no one built Dragons Claw so I have no idea how he usually deals with that.

you want them at 3-1 ideally (if you didn't level in stage 2 you will be lvl 4 8/10 exp at 3-1 and you roll down to hit the 3 stars but if you are far from them you stop at 30 gold and 2 stars and try again after 3-5 carosel if you don't hit then you just go fast 8th.

Ahri is bait in this comp unless u natural her. 1. Ruins your econ if you roll 6 2. You never have items when you hit her 3. You never have good anti heal user, better to find ryze and red buff him. 4. Most importantly, with ahri 3 you are forced into ahri arcana. Way higher cap to tempo zoe to 9 and play around xerath ryze milio diana and charms.

to go re roll means that on the level that has the highest % for the given unit (level 5 for 1 cost is 55%, level 6 for 2 costs has highest odds) so if youre doing a zoe re roll, youre clicking the re roll button on lvl 5 without going 6 until you have all, or most of your re roll hero copies. If youre going syndra or kog maw re roll, youd roll on level 6 since they are both 2 cost (green) units. If youre going jinx, wukong, or veigar re roll, youd roll on level 7 since that has the highest % for 3 cost drops. The opposite of re roll is fast 8 or 9, where you arent really rolling your units at all, you are playing strongest board available no matter what units, and trying to maintain health so that when you hit level 8 you can sell the units you used to get there, and re roll for your strong 4 cost units like taric/karma/kalista ect. Summed up: re roll aims to 3 star one more multiple units that are 1,2 or 3 cost units. Fast 8 or 9 aims for you to keep your econ above 50 for most the game, get to lvl 8 around stage 4-1 and roll for your units between 4-1 and 4-4 depending on your econ, whos contesting you, and what youre going for.

Zoe, Lillia, Poppy. Ahri 3 is optional. Also, you can play this with Poppy Hero Augment as a duo-carry or trio-carry board, but this consideration is less prioritized. If you get Spellblades augment, you can consider the angle of playing the comp.
