Now I know that this is a movie made just for entertainment (although it takes a long stretch of the imagination to be entertained by it) so I'll just take it as what I think it is, a character study.. I have a question, this question is just to see if I am on the right track or if the train suddenly turned into a plane and flew right over my head. Ok. The husband treats his wife like she is a statue that doesn't have feelings and can't be hurt physically or mentally and we won't EVEN discuss her in-laws. The wife just takes whatever abuse they throw her way, the Mistress is busy planting seeds at every opportunity (working the husband like she's working a job, and, so far, doing a pretty good job of it although she's leaving some pretty big holes along the way. Question; Which of the three is the biggest abuser,, the husband, the Mistress, or the wife? My answer is the wife and I say that because she didn't have to put up with it from day one the minute he raised his hand to her in anger, she could have started to make plans to leave him. I just want to see if anyone agrees with me, or if I missed something that would change the way I see the situation.

Everyone in this drama us as dumb as a bag of rocks. I think the MIL & mistress are the worst though, making up BS, and pretending it's true. Agree that she should have dipped way earlier than she did. In fact, when she was in the plane crash and saw him at the hospital, she should have publicly and loudly confronted him.
