@Midbeast This is very important! As a plat player, I found a very strange thing!! I learnt a 100 times more from this video than from vod reviews of insane players. WHY? Its because I found what they are doing much more relatable to what I do, making it very clear to me what my mistakes are On the other hand, when I see perfect execution of something with your commentary on why its done, I do not relate as much since I see it as recognizably good thing to do and think that I do it when I actually do not. I think we need more reviews of relatively bad players with lots of mistakes so we improve way more than usual ! This is actually a good video, one that I've learned more compared to other Midbeast's educational videos. The reason being in this video Midbeast is able to pinpoint the mistakes made in the game (granted there were a lot, but it's Tyler anyway) and can identify what should've been in that case scenario. Seeing the mistakes firsthand it becomes easier for me to relate, to see, and to understand. As compared to reviewing pros such as Faker, Chovy, or Showmaker where they barely make any mistakes at all and it's rather hard for me to see what exactly are they doing. Hope Midbeast makes more videos like this in the future.

@bodycounter93863 жыл бұрын
@@ogaimon3380 the general consense is actually the opposite: heavy roaming style is better in very high elo. In lower elo it's better to win your lane and get turret platings, gold and experience. In high korean challenger people are often roaming but still achieving 10 cs/min because they setup their waves before they actually do roam. Tyler just randomly leaves his lane every time without giving two shits about his lane state. Look at the roam at 5:08. It's so bad, he has no info of the enemy jungler, no ultimate and no ignite. It's just a coinflip roam where Yasuo gets a huge lead in midlane and a kill because he forced a fight. Yasuo has at least 1 level and 20 cs advantage after his bad roam. This game is won because his Ezreal is completely carrying the whole game.

As I agree with the trading comments early game, I also disagree strongly here. Tanking those minions does make you receive more damage, but if you're gonna push on a champ like Annie you push faster by tanking the creeps for your wave. It made him able to shove hard enough to make it bounce rather than putting him on the dead spot in front of the tower.
@bodycounter93863 жыл бұрын
He can just auto and use his Q on the backline minions to achieve exactly the same. There's no need to aggro six minions, losing a third of his health and having to use a pot against a Yasuo lane. On top of that the bouncing wave just died under his turret because he did not trim the wave and is unable to farm under his turret with Annie. His wave management is pretty bad to be honest.
@ThemeMelord69113 жыл бұрын
@@bodycounter9386 Get the calculator out next time bro, 3 melee creeps deal 36*1.25=45dps Annie auto deals 50*0.58=29 dps. It took 60 seconds to get the wave barely in the spot you want it to be in. If he didn't go aggro on the Yasuo, Yasuo could've trimmed it and he would be in a bad spot. Shoving the first 2 waves is wave management 101. If you're gonna make comments on his wave management, this is not the spot. Also, I don't think he could trim the wave after the bounce with Tahm next to him. Midbeast said he had to throw his W into the wave to fuck up all the creeps, how are you going to last hit those casters under tower?

I believe he will hit challenger and the reason he is climbing fast is because mid lane and top lane are pretty similar lanes (Masters and below). The reason jungle and top took him a long time because those lanes were completely fundamentally different than ADC and each other. This is also why I think when he does support to challenger it would be a breeze for him because as an ADC main you know what is required of the support and you can just play how you would want your support to play.
