'He Is Correcting His Mistakes' Mixed Reaction Over Pastor Kumuyi's Viral Video

Lots of controversial reactions have been stirred up by Pastor Kumiyi, General Overseer of Deeper Life Church, in his recent teaching on giving offerings. In a viral video of the man of God speaking to his congregation on giving, he noted that it is good to give your offerings to the church for church buildings, which of course benefits the members.

Kumuyi is one of the most modest of all the Nigerian pastors. I am not a member of his church, but he has shown true leadership in that regard.

The man of God is not correct because he has been used people money and made prosperity let him empty his account personally to the poor not tell his members if he give that money he received from people to the poor then everyone will believe him even God will forgive him

Whatever a man believes, he practices first before others emulate even without telling them to do the same. Let the preachers lead by being examples to the members/followers.

Pastor Kumuyi is a true servant of God who made a lot of mistakes in in his teachings, and now he is correcting them which is the sign of humility, the deeper life I see today is not not the one I knew so many years back, and I thank God for him

People just dey talk wetin dem no know. School fees in Anchor Uni is actually among the lowest in the country, even lower than some state unis. Apart from that, several Deeper Life students are on tuition free studies. Anyway, it's all nice. God will deliver us all from poverty

Those responses you read I regarded them as their opinion, though they're all wrong. They have no knowledge of what they're saying. How do you fund school administrative activities & get the best results consistently? With church offering? Will you hire best teachers and tell them it's God's work & their reward is in heaven?😅😅 What wrong was he trying to right? He bought jet with church offering? When you don't have knowledge about an issue don't just talk anyhow. So, if a minister of God said due to the economic situation of the country, let's reach out to the poor. Why should that be criticised? May God have mercy on you all

The more I study Christianity the more I Pauline Christianity did not destroy paganism but adopted it. Worshiping the Sunnis on Sunday, eat flesh, drink blood, wash sins with blood, and crap like that, adopted from Babylonian pagans. Very unfortunate.

Thank God for the criticism, Jesus said in Luke 6.26 “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the first prophets” Many people comments on what they don’t know anything about. (Limousine, private jet, enriching himself) You showed pastor Kumuyi with limousine, let me tell you, where ever pastor Kumuyi goes, people there are responsible for his transportation, he doesn’t own those cars you are seen. There was a time he came to my location, my car would have been used to pick him from the airport, but I was at work on that day. I am writing this to help some people because Jesus said in Matthew 12.36“But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. I give tithe in church because the bible says so. Mal. 3: 10 . Not because a pastor says or otherwise. At the same time the bible also says we should give or help the poor. Ps. 41 The word of God is my compass not pastors. However, I follow them as they follow Christ. If they go astray, I retreat.
