@@smustipher I'm sure. So so many dogs are neglected of daily walks, especially in a nation filled to the brim with obese people. Still, if you're unable to care for a dog don't just kick it out on the street; literally in this case.

@@jona.scholt4362 for sure. The were careless when they decided to adopt him (i.e. probably did not bother to evaluate if they were a good fit for the breed), and they were just as careless in the way they gave him up. He thankfully found a kind and savvy pet owner to take him in.

@@smustipher I saved my dog and his first family by adopting him from them at 9 months. Cattle dogs are tough dogs that need a strong caring parent who understands he’s a teammate in this. They are too smart to be followers. They make decisions and hopefully you showed them your boundaries.

It's terrible that Ed's previous owner cut off his tail and abused him and threw him out of the car but it's also very wonderful that Kelsey took him in and showered Ed with love and kindness and lots of patience and thinks of him as her soulmate and her fiance helps too. He is a very handsome dog and it's so nice that he was able to bond with the cat too.

There is a stumpy tail cattle dog who has a naturally short tail, they are born with a short tail. I have gotten asked if my dog’s tail has been docked which it hasn’t. I have one of these dogs. I wonder if Ed has stumpy cattle dog in him.

ILoveLamp No, that’s the Aussie shepherd. The Australian shepherd is docked. Not cattle dog. If you look up the standard for cattle dog they have tails. And the cattle dogs are sometimes born without tails. So it’s ok. Don’t make assumptions without knowing what you’re talking about.

His 'cattle dog' breeding is 100% Kelpie. I mean those ears and that face 💜. Kelpies are amazing dogs and very loyal. I doubt Kelpies are all that common to find outside of Australia. Blue healers and Aussie shepherds seem way more popular in the US. So enjoy this unique and adorable pup. 💜 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

100% Kelpie in him for SURE!! I was hoping someone else would comment on this. THOSE EAAAAARS are a dead give away, including the nose and the tan colour. Kelpies are the BEST!! I lost my old mate a few years back at 18 and half years old he too was a Kelpie X. BEST relationship I have ever had!! Sorely missed.

@@rosiemcking72 agreed they are the best dogs. We have a Kelpie x G Shepherd. She is amazing. She goes out to a friends farm and taught herself to work the sheep, by watching their dogs. Some days they will put her in the yards, over their own kelpies, because she is gentle with the lambs and dosnt push them as hard. Best part is they live a long time. 18 years is such a good effort. Im glad you got so long with your pup. I can only hope for the same with ours who is almost 12 now. 🥰🐕
