Im sorry Alicia but your assesment on Mikes death was so far off lol^^ Which is uncharacteristic for you since you are usually very on point! He wasnt focused on his bloodlust, what you on about?^^. His Legs were broken, his hip cracked, his gear taken and he was in a complete state of shock. He had no idea that Titans can talk not to mention this coherently. His whole understanding of how the world works got shattered by Beasty Boi here. And also, what else was he supposed to do? He was still surrounded by 3 regular Titans, who as we saw with the big headed small one, dont listen perfectly to the Beast Titan even if he tells them do do something and as soon as he had left they would have killed him anyway and he cant run away. And how in the everloving fucknuggets is he going to get any information out of the Monke?? Do you really think that chungy boi is going to answer questions?? No one in this show ever answers any damn questions especially not the Titans!^^ So might as well go out with a bit of fight and dignity. It was literally his only option. He didnt make his situation any worse by doing that or failed to help the Scouts, and he didnt "deserve to die" for realizing that he was already dead. If anything he made his inevitable end quicker and less painfull by doing it.

Yeah the guy literally had his whole psyche crushed by the absolute fear of knowing that the threat he has been fighting his whole life is actually sentient and he is completely overpowered in everyway. The beast titan literally told him that he was a human in the nape, both of them knew he had zero hope of living but he decided to die heroically instead of cowering in fear.

And do not forget that even without the Titans immediately around him, Mike would have likely been crippled if not outright paralyzed by the biting of the small Titan, so with no horse, no maneuver gear and deep in what has now become hostile territory, he's pretty much done for any way you look at it.

Both the Eren/Annie fight and the rest of the 104th being attacked by the Titans on their remote station happen on the same day. 14:14 Sasha and Connie were tending the cannons atop the wall with the rest of Eren's squad when the Colossal Titan attacked Trost's gate in episode 4, so they're 100% not the Colossal.

Yeah, I seriously wish people wouldn't push the OVA's so hard as soon as someone gets close to the end of season 1. It's honestly disappointing when people go into season 2 with the foreshadow of the Notebook OVA. It's not going to be as fun of a reaction, because they already know. I personally watched the OVA after season 3, and am glad I waited. I still want to watch Alicia's videos, but it has been the reason I've stopped watching others.

You can already tell from her reaction that the scene is shocking enough even if you've heard titans talk before. However if you watch Ilse's Notebook after this then the talking titan from that scene isn't as shocking.. Watching Ilse's Notebook after Season 2 means that the revelation that Christa's friend is called Ymir would be completely lost on you too. It's always best to watch in the intended order which is Season 1 - Ilse's Notebook - Season 2.

I have no idea why she was so ruthless! Imagine spending your entire life being oppressed, and then finally starting to fight back. Of course you're going to have a mentality of not giving up no matter what. That's literally what kept them all alive. Not to mention that he was in an extremely confusing and stressful situation, your flight or fight response will surely activate whether you like it or not, and such soldiers will most likely have a fight response. His reaction is only appropriate for the conditions in which he has been living his entire life.

Alright some stuff. No spoilers don't worry. It was touched in season 1 when Hange was talking about Bean and Sawny, that titans are much less active when out of sunlight. Hence why the wall titan needed to be hidden from the sun. This season is so densely packed, because it starts immediately after season 1 ends, and the events of the season last about 2 days. Also, me whenever the Beast is on screen: "mmm...monke"

I doubt Miche would've been allowed to live. The Beast is clearly not friendly to humans. It took out the horse to keep Miche from running, took the gear out of curiosity and left Miche with no way of returning to the walls. Even if it had little to no knowledge of how humans survived against the titans, all common logic should point to the fact that leaving Miche like that would make his survival chances slim to non, especially with his broken leg. Yet it didn't care. I think even if Miche did stay down and try to survive, the Beast would've done what he did anyways and let the titans eat him as he clearly had the attitude of "Oh right, I forgot to tell the titans they were free to move" rather than "Oh, you're not backing down. Guess I'll kill you".

Btw, have you noticed how the wall cultists pray? :D It was shown in the last episode, when Eren smashed that church fighting Annie and crushing all those who were inside. Also, IMHO the beast titan would've never let that dude go in either case. He was going to be eaten anyway, it was just a coincidence that he gave the order after he tried to fight back.

Not a spoiler ! Season 2 is the side character development season, characters like Sasha, Connie, Ymir, Christa, Bertholdt and Reiner get more time on screen to become fleshed out characters while the main 3 take a back seat for a while. Which I LOVED about this season because all my favs are the side characters to begin with! Jean, Connie, Ymir, and Reiner are my top favs.

Ngl the part at 27:16 really got me when I first watched it. His begging, crying, and overall death were brutal. He got his head torn off as he was being eaten alive and pulled apart. It fucked with me for a bit.
