Actually I think the Queen's idea made a lot of sense. To ants, humans are very powerful beings and if she could change his nature then her colony would have access to an extremely powerful ally with limitless food. And thats not even to mention the lifespan difference.

The interesting thing about the “maggot droppings” part is that it was a caterpillar not a maggot. It’s specifically a caterpillar from the Lycaenidae butterfly genus family which are known for secreting sugary substances and the ants love this sugary sustenance so they protect the caterpillar. It’s a fascinating symbiotic relationship and they portrayed it pretty well in this movie.

This is the movie that solidified in my mind that there was a cornucopia in the Fruit of the Looms logo. I still vividly remember it on my underwear and shirts back then. Unfortunately, all of the evidence I had was given away a very long time ago. The logo actually shows up in this video at around 4:19-4:20.

This movie was ok the only thing I didn’t like was that they united with wasps instead of bees because bee work together as a team too so their bond with the ants would last longer but for wasps its one wasp for itself

Actually there are many species of wasps that do nest and work together. The notion that all wasps are loners is completely false, and when it comes to defending a nest... well I am sure you have heard about what happens to people when wasps swarm them after feeling threatened. They very much communicate and work together. They are just a bit more capable of independence than bees are, and of course there are species that are completely independent so there is a mix.
