He knows my name by Tasha Cobbs

I had the honor of doing a duet in my church, singing He Knows My Name by Tasha Cobbs. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to lead this song. It came during a tough season for me, and it brought me immense peace and comfort, reminding me that God knows me and everything I’m going through.
There were nights I struggled to sleep, facing trials and tribulations, but God was always there. When my choir/music director, Frank Edwards, reached out to me, I was honestly amazed and shocked. Why me? What did he see or hear? But I’m so thankful for the love and support I received.
A big thank you to my duet partner, Kelechi, for standing by me, to Sir Tee for ensuring I was comfortable with the key, to my Vocal Director, MAD and to my choir family for believing in me. I pray we are all remembered in our moments of need and that God picks us up every time we call on Him.
I hope this song encourages someone today, just as it encouraged me. Keep trusting God. He knows your name.
