Actually, that could have been possible. The organist Fred portrays is really called Joe, and he's my best friend. (He wishes he could have met Fred Willard, one of his favorite comedians, after seeing this sketch.) The "organ" is actually a reproduction of Joe's American Fotoplayer.

My mom loves the movies fred Willard was a part of, i.e. Best in Show and a Mighty Wind. She absolutely adored him. When I showed her this clip she absolutely died laughing. I'm happy to have had that moment with her.

The real reason he calls him new Joe is very inside. My boss at work is Joe Rinaudo and was featured on the Huell Howser show playing the fotoplayer. At some point youtube started putting ads in the video and Huell's team pulled it and put it back up again as New Joe Plays. That's the obscure reason they call him New Joe.

That is correct. To be more exact, though, "Hit It Joe!" got loaded up with commercials (by KZbin) so it was pulled off, and replaced by a clean original version simply titled "New Joe." (Why didn't they call it "Hit It Again Joe!"? Anyway, the funniest part of the whole sketch to me is calling the organist "New Joe" when that's just the title of the video.
