The medicine for long distance relationships is communication. Communicate every day with video calls not audio. Remember out of sight, out of mind. Keep yourself busy researching the visa application process because that will keep you motivated. Keep your head up Hun. Also,make sure you have a life outside the LDR, because the worst thing is sitting every day and lamenting about the situation. Keep yourself busy with friends and family. Just keep enjoying life. Remember to talk about your future plans together to keep the romance alive. With communication, keep sending pictures of your day to keep each involved with each other's life. Also, from time to time, send pictures of yourself looking good and also dressed up. That'll keep him on his toes. Otherwise you'll be fine. It's hard at the beginning but it gets better. Sending you the biggest hugs. PS: I almost forgot the most important thing, don't share your future plans with your friends. The truth is not everyone wants the best for you.

I feel you my dear. I am equally in a long distance relationship too. I haven't seen my guy since 2019. I am here in Canada and he is in Uganda. We are both hopeful that we can get to see each other this year. What keeps us going the hope for the future, the long term goals. Our initial plans was I would come for a few months and then get back for us to start our lives but Covid happened and I couldn't but I think it has worked for the better in the long run at least he will will be able to join here, it's just a matter of time

The first few nights are the worst. I kept waking up with anxiety. And Luna was so sad. She slept by the door waiting for him to come back. The Hello is the best part, the goodbye is the worst part. I hope you close the distance soon. Ldr isn't easy. Take heart ❤
