Here I am thinking that to me it’s admirable that you are a traveling nurse so in effect you can bring help to anyone anywhere. Then you gave us your background not only on being sober, but being a survivor and it floors me how you are so humble and so down to earth. Wow, sir! You’re an awesome human being! 😊

Only thing missing is eternal security in going to heaven he didn’t mention. Said that the scare of being a survivor makes him appreciate time, but the ultimate appreciation of time would be ensuring you keep n living in heaven

Thats what I do. Not a travel nurse, but I travel full time working in utility scale solar. I get $120 a day, 7 days a week. So $840 a week tax free. Currently in a $210 a week motel, which, as long as they are clean, I prefer. Old places where I can open my door to the outside. So $3300.00 a month and between lodging and food, I have at least $2000 left over to pocket. I can spend per diem and never touch my checks. It all goes to savings.

Finally! Usually seems like the simplest affordable tiny homes often belong to little old people & others with laid-back lifestyles & few activities. When we see videos about people with busy lives, they're in tens-of-thousands-of-dollars' worth of fancy build. I'm a homeless premed trying to work & tutor & live with two dogs in a Ford Explorer, mid-remodel on a little 6'x8' trailer to make it a tiny living space & office, & planning to build something 8'x16' next for a home I can take around the country to the premed program I want to attend & then med school -- & I have multiple physical & behavioral disabilities so I need to be really inventive, resourceful, & intentional with design.
